(Gary discusses the material that has been written about the idea of the establishing of the state of Israel being the ‘fig tree’ time mentioned in the NT as the start of the ‘generation’ that would see the return of the Jewish Messiah. And the contortions that some Christian authors go through to attempt to extend the meaning of a ‘generation’; which Gary is not having any of, as of May 14, 2018, 70 years since said establishment of the state of Israel, and the furthest ‘generation’ time that some of said contortionists have attempted to take the meaning of the term, but suggesting that some will continue to play into the mind game unto making a generation mean a thousand years…

Good call, Gary. The "generation" mentioned in what we call the New Testament was designed to point 'prophetically' to the destruction of the Temple by Titus, as 'presumed' judgment on the Jews for not bending the knee to the Roman emperor; Titus being made out to be the Son of Man talked about in the Jewish religious literature. It was all a scam, initiated by Josephus Flavius (a Jewish general-cum-governor-cum historian) to curry favor with the imperial household of Vespasian (known as the Flavians; hence Josephus's adopted surname), in order for him and many of his priestly-family friends to live to fight another day, and not go under with the priests who fell with the Temple. And thus also the references in the NT to 'Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's,' and to obey the authority of the state, etc. Christians have been tricked into a religion created by some Jews, obviously in concert with members of the Flavian household (who were the first members of the new religion).
Joseph Atwill has the story in his 'Caesar's Messiah: The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus'. Read it, and be appalled. And then awaken to one's new world, wherein one lives by discernment. Not dogma.

May we all learn to live by Truth. Before
The End.
Whenever that may be.
And for whom.
