  In this sense Ted Cruz was born in Canada and had one American parent ... I think. Under current law, he probably is not eligible ... but, we should define this provision more clearly ... it's not as specific as it should be ...he will be great no matter what he does.   A: No. A 'natural born citizen' is one born on the soil (or its equivalent, like a military base) of two (in this case, U.S.) citizen parents - in legal terms, jus soli and jus sanguinis (born on the soil and of the blood).

  This requirement was put in the Constitution for the office of the presidency - and that federal office ONLY - in particular because the candidate would also become the Commander in Chief of the nation's military forces, and the constitutional Framers did not want anyone in that position with DUAL/CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES.

Elections? It Is To Laugh, With Causticity

Elections are coming up.  The robo calls are out in force.  I wish I could send a robo call to the Election officials that keeps ringing them and ringing them and ringing them with the message:

Dear Election Officials, State and Local:

You are not allowing me to have faith and trust in the electoral process.  The process as it is is a charade, a fake, a fraud, a scam.  By not requiring photo ID of the voters, and not scrupulously cleaning the voter rolls regularly of ineligible voter names - the deceased, felons, people who have moved, and otherwise ineligible voters; including (you scrofulous bunch of idiots, you miserable examples of civil servants) illegal aliens - you are inviting fraud, and in the process, disenfranchising me and all honorable citizens.  If I could sue you people for allowing the diluting and canceling out of my vote, I would.  In the meantime - i.e., before we can have a condition of trust, and 'voter integrity,' instead of an endemic condition of widespread voter fraud - I for one refuse to play your game, your parody of a real, legitimate democratic process.

And if we all - all of us legitimate voters - boycotted elections until they were cleaned up, they would be cleaned up.  Absent such a concerted and overwhelming demand for a state of rectitude in the process, it won't happen, but piecemeal - the process will continue to limp along, and be the farce, the fraud, that it is.  Like the leadership that it gives us.

Such is how these things go, ending up ultimately in the trash bin.

Shape up - or get out of the way, of the real People.

Misplaced Sympathies

An otherwise very conservative candidate for Congress in a toss-up district passed on in her financial appeal letter a quote from a newspaper article about her (admittedly from a you-should-excuse-the-expression liberal rag) wherein she said, regarding the 'immigration reform' question, that she wants to see our borders sealed first, before we look at the other issues involved (or words to that effect).

What?!

There should be no question, for a staunch, principled conservative:

No Amnesty - Period.

Look what it got the nation under Ronald Reagan's attempt at being 'nice':1 Not only more of the same, but far, far more; and stretching into the future, until either the takeover of the nation by the Left is complete, or the Right rises up and throws off this challenge, in a looming, catastrophical civil war. 

As I wrote on my return form to her (I can support her because she's got the rest of the basics down pat; she's intelligent enough to come through on this issue as well) anent this point: "You do not reward wrongdoing; or you encourage wrongdoing.  Duh."

Let me be frank, and crystal clear on this subject.  Yes, there are issues of 'humaneness'.  But my sympathies rather lie with those erstwhile immigrants to this country who have been abiding by the rules and waiting their turn to enter; making a good start thereby in proving themselves to be potentially good, law-abiding citizens.  Contrary to those who sneak, or think of sneaking, into the country.  

And have been helped by people in this country, cutting corners, and allowing them to stay by doing such things as 'looking the other way,' and giving them jobs, and such.2  

It's the same with those bureaucrats who have deliberately held up legitimate benefits for returning Vets, for political purposes.  They too will be rooted out, and made to face their wrongdoing.3  

As for the children of illegal aliens, who are presumed to be innocent in all this: 

Their parents had a major opportunity to learn one of life's major lessons: that actions have consequences, which often go further than just to and for the perpetrators themselves of those actions.  The children of illegal aliens are certainly going to learn, or at least experience, the effects of that foundational life lesson.4

And in the context too of the fact that there is no such thing as 'anchor babies,' as far as citizenship goes.  And so, also to learn the consequences of their actions are those deliberately misguiding souls who sold illegal aliens a pack of lies in that regard.5  And I use the term 'souls' here with some difficulty; since they have been exceedingly poor reflections of their Creator into matter, embodying as they have been such negative qualities as deceit and chicanery.  Such qualities are allowed, in  this realm of duality and separation (and Illusion), in order for us humans to learn lessons, in the expression thereof.  Not to get caught up in their expression.  To see what we are made of, as the expression has it; and only as it were.  Not 'made of' in truth, as I say.  For our Source is not of these sorts of qualities.  We are simply allowed them, in our classroom of Life.  For our edification.  

It's called growing up.

And really, we've had enough of that lower-grade-school stuff, now.  

Or hadn't you noticed.  

Brainwashed as you have been.  

By and large.

Anyway.

Past is Prologue.

We have other fish to fry, now.    

Let's see if we're made of the Right Stuff.

Oh.

Of course we are… 

In the meantime; the message:

Any nation - like any person - has a right to set its boundaries. 

And before we move on to humanity's Next Steps, we need to recognize that fact. 

To learn that fact.  To demonstrate that degree of consciousness.

Before we can move on.

For, it goes to our maturity.

Our lesson-learning.  In the life experience.

What 'the life experience' is - has been - very for.

Duh.

While America Dozed Off In Front Of The Telly

The first thing that we have to accept, in looking at the condition that America is in today, is that there is no real rule of law left in the country.  Obama has become a law unto himself, governing by executive fiat - choosing which laws he will enforce and which he won't, and making up some as he goes along.  Such arbitrary rule is the very signature of tyranny, of a despot at work.  And that spirit, of the imperial presidency, drunk on the fumes of power, is carried out in his executive branch departments by his minions.  The whole lot of them need to be thrown out and put in jail for a long, long time.

And especially including his Attorney General; head of the Department of 'Justice'.  What a mockery of the rule of law is going on in our time and place.

Realize something well, Citizen: Obama doesn't, and this lot don't, even need an excuse - whether in the form of a false flag op or not - to declare Martial Law, and thus dissolve the Constitution totally, and put the entire nation under a 'state of national emergency' footing.  Since Obama has taken on the law-mangling mantle of being a law unto himself, he can just declare Martial Law - and obviously would, if he thought he could get away with it.  But that may well seem to him to be like a bridge too far (don't scare the peasantry), and he will make sure that he's got a good excuse in order to go that far, in the overthrow of the American Republic, and the installation of a collectivist dictatorship; however best, most accurately it can be described.  Some sort of combination of socialism and fascism.1  Whatever: the 'fundamental transformation of the United States of America' that he alluded to towards the end of his first campaign for the presidency.

His first illegal campaign for the office.  Which is what makes this matter so galling.  The man was not even eligible to run for that office in the first place.  But a combination of a colluding opposition party2 and Mainstream Media3 succeeded in pulling the wool over the eyes of most of the electorate.  A sad, sad state of affairs, and commentary on the alertness of a people entrusted, by the Founding Fathers of the nation, with their own governing. 

It's time for the American people to take over the running of their country, instead of leaving that responsibility to the professional class of politicians that has grown up in the country, and to the media, that has been bought off, by The Powers That Be.   

Or rather, The Powers That Were.  In my book.

Are we in the same book, let alone on the same page, in this challenge, Citizen??

I dearly hope so.  A lot depends on your response to that question.

Including your individual next steps.  As a spiritual being having a human experience.  And facing The End of History as we have known it.4 

Why do I say that?

Besides all the socio-political conditions pointing to it - our having gone as far as we can go on this level of consciousness, without stumbling into appalling calamity - there is the little matter of free energy devices.  Our erstwhile Keepers have been trying to keep this information from Joe and Jill Public for a long time.  But it is too far 'out there' now (rather than too 'far out'), to be able to be kept hidden any longer; a secret only for our Wranglers to know about.  Gotta keep the herd docile and in their place, doncha know…

I'll stop here, in this particular blog, before I begin to get really angry, and, as it were, lose my place in the story.  The story, of Humanity's long climb out of the shadows, and into the light of a New Day.

Suffice it to say, that

we're here.

And it's time - and almost past time - to wake up to it.  

Before we over-identify with our roles.

And make some huge mistakes.

As we have done before, on this planet.

And of which, we carry a memory.

A dim one.  But it's there.  A niggling, of consciousness.

To help us avoid the same mistakes.

And inherit the true kingdom.

Just waiting for us, to wake up to it.

And out of this nightmare one that we are in.

We certainly aren't going to find any "middle ground" where we can both "just get along"! The Left isn't going to be happy if we start dismantling what they have built in the last 50+/- years - and we aren't going to be happy if we don't do it! The last few decades, at least, have shown us how the left operates; an inch here, an inch there, a law that benefits them, a court ruling by their judges! Knock them back without settling the problem just means they start growing again! To my way of thinking; the best solution is to "ask" those who have tried to ruin our Nation, to leave it! But, if it comes down to civil war, all bets are off! Leave it - or be buried under it!

John F. Bergmann: You raise a good point: How do we put it all together 'after'. My 'take' on the matter, John, FWIW: It's all a part of a spiritual scenario. We are being faced with the need to go, neither to the Left nor to the Right. But Up. Taking the best of both sides of the socio-econo-political process with us, in a Synthesis of the main features of human life on Earth. Which will also lead us to the moneyless society that we have been heading for, after we engaged sufficiently in The Play, and learned our lessons therefrom. The main one being that we are 'spiritual beings having a human experience'. That life is a school, and the purpose is to graduate. No more atheism; no more Force ruling things. It's the end of history as we have known it, John. 

There's more. But that's enough for now, to give you a taste of my thinking on the subject. I basically just wanted to acknowledge that you raised an excellent point; and that it's time for my take on the matter to start kicking in. Before we take the process/The Play to its violent potential.

  Margaret, yes it is worth voting. The problem with elections is there is too much apathy. Not enough people vote as it is is why it is as it is. Man that’s a bunch 2 letter words. Anyway, More people need to be involved. By that I mean they need to vote and they need to hold their representatives feet to the fire as it were. So yes you vote for the lesser of two evils this year. But then you pay attention to what that person is doing for the next 2 years and then if they seem to be another tell you what you want to hear but do as they please type you vote for the lesser evil again. If it turns out to be the same one well then you’re in trouble. It’s not likely to be the case, But you still have to vote. I tell people that if you don’t vote because you think your vote doesn’t matter you are wrong. If you don’t vote you don’t matter. So you see I am going to vote as long as there is a choice between the two evils and I am going to do what I can to get more people to vote. The next two elections are very important to the future of this country and we need everyone that is eligible to vote to do so. It doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you are on. R D or I it is important to vote in order to get a real feel for what the country wants. If all the people that could vote but don’t would they could elect Mickey Mouse if they stuck together. There is nearly 80 million people that could vote but don’t. The 2 major parties are close with around 60 million R and 65 million D using the last presidential election numbers.

  Stanley, I appreciate your perspective, but I just can’t share it. I have been living out of the country for many years, and when I came back recently I couldn’t believe the degree of corruption in the voting process that I discovered – on the Internet (in particular, in the ability of the electronic machines to spew out their programmed response, not the true voter input), and when I went to vote, when all they asked me for, to identify myself, was to sign a name after a name on their voter reg rolls. I could have been anybody. Why don’t they ask me to show my photo ID? In this state, we already have such a thing – and it’s used for all manner of ID needs, such as cashing a check, or getting one’s welfare benefits. The latter of which use puts the lie to the argument by the Dems that to use [require] photo ID is ‘voter suppression’. What it is is illegal-voter suppression.

  I for one refuse to engage in a charade, a fraud, a satanic game. I am incensed at the amount of corruption involved in the voting process in my home country. Do we REALLY have to dip a voter’s finger in purple ink in this country to make sure they don’t vote more than once? Or other techniques used by banana republics?? No. All we need to do, to True The Vote, is to require a photo ID, which required a birth certificate to acquire. Yes, those may be forged, too (don’t we know, with that Obama fraudulent document he posted on the WH web site); but they are at least a good step in the right direction. Which the citizenry should have taken a long time ago, in every state, to ensure voter integrity. This is the most important civics activity that the citizens of a country can engage in, to ensure that their government is honestly representing them. Not dishonestly; as is the case now.

  We’ll put sir, I have voted in every election since I was legally able to vote (18 years of age) I have never missed an election. Be it local, state or national election. People who say their vote does not matter. Are only making excuses for their own laziness. Come on people get up and vote. It really does matter.

If this is "a big election," Joseph - and I agree that it is - why in heaven's name aren't conservative columnists urging their readership to get active in their states and help True The Vote - make sure that pressure is put to bear 1) on their state's Secretary of State to certifiably clean the voter reg rolls (of dead people's names, felons, those who have moved, and other ineligible voters, like illegal aliens), and 2) on their state legislatures to implement a photo ID law. ESPECIALLY as important as this election is, the Dems are going to go all-out to steal the election - just like they did in 2012. (Examples abound.)

We can't expect the Repub Party to put that pressure on, because they have their own issues with skewing the vote. This is a bipartisan issue, and needs to be engaged in immediately. Judicial Watch and True The Vote are doing a good job on this front, but they need help. And if someone on the Left tries to say that requiring photo ID is 'voter suppression' (their stock-in-trade, scripted response), tell them that you have one word for them - no, that you have a select few more, but you will settle at the moment with just one; that one being: "Bollocks." What it is more accurately is illegal-voter suppression.

I have said elsewhere, and will say until I am blue in the face: The American citizenry should have taken these measures a long time ago, in every state, to ensure voter integrity. This is the most important civics activity that the citizens of a country can engage in, to ensure that their government is honestly representing them. Not dishonestly, as is the case now, here.

So, get behind a movement to True The Vote in your state. So that we can bring integrity back into the process, from the process having been corrupted so terribly over the years. This does not speak well of our maturity, as the leading democratic form of government in the world.

The Minuteman Project has sent me a mailing detailing how the cost to the American taxpayers of illegal aliens "is even worse than you can imagine,"1 and providing us citizens with an Illegal Aliens Benefits Survey that they will send to Congress "and the news media".  For all the good that it will do to send it to either of those dens of corrupt so-and-so's.  (Not to mention sending it to the Tarnished House.)

The Survey - with some hard-hitting Yes, No, or Maybe questions; but still not enough, for my boiled blood - allowed room at the end for personal comment.  Mine:

"Put a lid on the honey pot - no more easy job availability or taxpayers' money spent on illegal aliens,* and they will return to their home countries on their own accord.  What are we - dummies???!!!  No More!  Enough!

*including education for their children. And Note: There are no such legal things as 'anchor babies'.  The notion issue to a misreading - and a deliberate one at that, by leftist lawyers adjudges - of the 14th Amendment.  Parents have got be "subject to the jurisdiction of" the U.S. in order for their children to be "subject to the jurisdiction of" the U.S..  Children follow the citizenship of their parents.  This is not rocket science.  Come on, Minutemen.  Do Your Job."

I was perhaps too hard on that project's President.  They are doing the best they can.2  But dammit - they call themselves Minutemen. Where are the true Minutemen of our day?  Those men, and women, who will live up to the standard of their forebears in this nation, and throw off the chains of slavery being tightened around our wrists, and necks, and feet??  Causing us to stumble into abject servitude to a monstrous Master; who would take away our very free will -  the very essence of our beings, as 'spiritual beings having a human experience'???

It's time to Throw Out This Lot, and Start Afresh.                

…and who am I, in this matter.  

Just an old man (an old white male; member of a dying breed).  Picking up glass and plastic bottles on the sidewalks of my retired life, to take to a recycling bin.  Himself recycling the Postal rubber bands he finds likewise, in fastening more securely the lids on the ice cream or yogurt or mixed-nut containers he uses to put his kitchen waste in, to keep said container top from coming loose and the contents possibly breaking in their plastic bag on the way to the landfill.   Ready for the landfill himself.  

Apparently.

Rather than being the Gamechanger that his still-robust heart (with the help of some CoQ-10, admittedly) tells him he is.  To help Set Things Right.  From the crucial state that they have entered into.

The process, Synthesis state of socio-econo-political evolution.  To avoid the shoals and whirlpools on both the Left and the Right of the passage that Humanity is taking.  And hold fast - Steady As She Goes - to the lodestar guiding us Home.

The lodestar of free will. 

That which separates Man from the Beasts. 

When it all comes right down to 

It.  

Which is, apparently, still a ways off yet.  On a weekend when it was hoped, by the organizers, that millions of Patriots would rally to Washington, D.C.  And a paltry few showed up.

There's still time.

But barely.  With the initiatives that the Usurper's legions are taking on so many fronts of the battle going on.

That a fair number of Patriots still don't seem to have cottoned on to, fully.  

In general, maybe.  But not to the appalling, and exceedingly dangerous, detail that is going on.

As we speak.

So.  Sunshine patriot?  Or militant.

Or dark Forces minion.

Which part did you choose to play, when our assignments were handed out?

And when are you going to recognize, that it is - has been - all part of The Play?

In which to capture our consciences.

And see where we end up, at the end.  When all is said and done.  And some of us Ascend, to the next level, of awareness.

And some of us don't.

Having failed the Big Test.

The big, Big Test. 

A Grand Round's worth.

1 "In 2011, the Treasury Inspector General for the Tax Administration uncovered an astonishing statistic…the IRS watchdog found that 'unauthorized individuals' - that's their code for illegal aliens - received $4.2 billion in welfare benefits.  $4.2 Billion!  At a time when our National Debt is ballooning and we are frantically printing money to pay interest on cash we borrowed from the People's Republic of China…" 

     The covering letter included information on how "(o)ur government - and all the Department heads personally appointed by Barack Hussein Obama - have decided to govern through the whims of the Executive Branch and not through the law".  Which approach to their jobs reflects the M.O. of their boss, the Usurper in Charge.

2 And their project mission has been specifically and simply to be "active on the U.S./Mexican border…running volunteer scout patrols and offering assistance to the great folks who serve in the U.S. Border Patrol".  Whose bad luck it has been to be in that position when the Usurper took over the Oval Office, in the statists' hijacking of the American Republic, and has deliberately, and arbitrarily, kept them from doing their job.

     I say 'statists,' not simply the Left, because there is a totalitarian Right as well in this country (or rather, internationally), who have been pursuing the same objective, as just another side of the same pyramid of power that the Illuminati are constructing behind the scenes, with Average Joe and Jill merely serfs - at best - to them, to be eliminated when no longer useful to their New World Order.

     As for the expression, and fact, of someone 'pursuing the same objective,' I am reminded - and especially in this context - of similar words, that all U.S. children should know; generally, if not by heart:

     "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long-established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.  But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."  

     If the Congress refuses to set things right from a usurped and runaway presidency - the latter evincing a design to reduce The People under absolute Despotism - and the judicial branch of government fails to rise to the occasion and denounce said Despotism, it is up to The People to take political matters into their own hands: to say, to throw off such chains of slavery, and declare themselves, once again, sovereigns, under the rule of law.  The legitimate rule of law (in this case, the U.S. Constitution).  Not law hijacked by scoundrels, manipulated to serve their ends.

     The end justifying the means, in their corrupt approach to life.  Because Whatever It Takes - 'By Any Means Necessary' - is the guiding 'principle' to go by, when there are no longer any absolutes, in your take on life.  Just things relative to your goal.  If something serves your goal, it's right; and if it doesn't, it's wrong.

     Or so the atheists are trying to tell you.  And govern you by. 

     My considered advice: Don't listen to them.  That is the siren song from both the far Left and the far Right.
