The State You're In

The State You're In

If you want the state

To take care of you, then

Go live in such a country

(they exist; if only

in various states

of poverty).

For this is the land of the free

Not of the freebie -  

of individual liberty;

            of individual

sovereignty -

                         the land

Where the people are free to make

Of their currently incarnate lives

What they will;

                           not

What the government wills for them

And does not apologize to take

From them; either from the Haves

Or the Have Nots, because 

They have all sold their souls

                   to the devil

on a whim.

And besides, the state

Has no money of its own

Anyway; has only -

                 as I say -

What it has taken

From its citizenry

Involuntarily.

You would then be living

On income that was stolen

in effect.  

How does that grab you.

            By the neck

Or by the wallet

Only??

            Surely you realize 

That it will not stop at the one

Once it has taken

What it can

And needs more

and more

and more

And will start wringing as well the other;

                  caught

In the dilemma

Of unmet expectations

As it will be.

Oh yes.

And as it should have been

Before the thievery was even begun.

We are sovereigns

Not to be spent

Foolishly.

That's all.  And that's enough

Or at least, should be,

                    for those

Who have ears to hear,

Wisely.

             To say: are aware

             that actions

Have consequences;

are not complete in themselves

Only.

Take heed. And listen.

To your Self talking

To your self.  And elevate

Your self out of this mess

That all of we I's have made

Of our practice creation.

For, through the Plan of reincarnation

We Are One Another; and thus

There is no 'other'

In reality. is only

I; capable

Of great things

By Our very nature.  

                    The We

that Are One, in further essence;

                  only experiencing

This realm of duality, and its illusion

Of separation

From the great I Am, 

                             wherein

We Are

actively;

   all, facets of the same Being.

     Give it a go

With more awareness; to say

more consciously.

                                   Life

 is a gift.

Don't waste it

On frivolity.

There are lessons to be learned

And thereby, progress to be earned

Out of the elementary school

That we are currently in

Only.

           Fight the whirlpool

And dive in

To eternity. 

                That's the Way

To go

now.

See?  Not

to turn your power over

To 'others'.  Only

To your Self, as part of -

an integral part of - 

The Whole.

If you want satisfaction -

real satisfaction -

                        reject

the state you're in;

                 this state

Of illusion

And come Home

again
under your own power.
Which is the only way to do it;
no other.
