  • I hope you soon understand, bbnnmm, as, presumably, a conservative, that neither Cruz nor Rubio are eligible for either of the top spots on the slate. For, neither is a 'natural born' citizen; i.e., one born on the soil of two U.S. citizen parents. A requirement written in to the Constitution (for the presidency, and later as amended to include the office of the VP) so that the offices are not occupied by persons with CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES. As is the case with the dual-citizen Usurper, Barack Obama.

  • Which is why he needs to be removed from the office; and pronto. Before he does any more damage than he already has; and his comrades try to give him the excuse he needs to declare Martial Law, and trash the Constitution totally, rather than partially, as is its state now, under him, and those RINOs who won't do their job, as members of the 'honorable opposition'. Nothing honorable about them.

  • Or the Republican Party in general, for not having stood up to the hijacking of the American presidency by the office's current occupant. Who is well on his way to becoming another Hitler, particularly because of that failure of will on the part of those whose primary job it was to stand in his way.

  • We really need to get clear on this fundamental matter. And soon. The fate of the Republic hinges on it.

As a life-long Constitutional Conservative, what I would like to know is why are so many so-called Conservatives still pushing Marco Rubio as a viable candidate for the office of president when they know darn well that Rubio is NOT constitutionally eligible for that office. He is a great Senator, but he is NOT a "Natural Born" citizen. Yes, he is a citizen, having been born in Florida, but he is NOT "Natural Born" citizen because his parents did not become US citizens until Marco was four years old. Is every body in this country constitutionally illiterate?

I agree with you. There is no way Rubio is a Natural Born Citizen. I have met so many conservatives who don't understand what Natural Born Citizen means. "A Natural Born Citizen of the United States is a person who was born in the United States of two parents who were already U.S. citizens either by birth or legalization." The key is both parents must be U.S. citizens before the child is born in the U.S. Marco Rubio, Barack Obama, and Ted Cruz do not qualify to be President. The Founders did not want foreign influence in the White House. Furthermore, Marco Rubio led the Gang of Eight against America with his treacherous immigration legislation and he also supported the treacherous National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). There is no way I couild support Marco Rubio.

You are absolutely correct. I was telling people all the way back in 2008, that if the Congress did nothing about removing Obama due to his constitutional ineligibility, and if the courts kept refusing to hear the ineligibility cases against Obama, so that he is allowed to complete one or two terms, then the legal shysters would claim that a legal precedent has been set to allow anyone to run for and be elected to the office of president, and this would result in a real Constitutional crisis leading to the possible total shredding of the Constitution. This would mean that even children born here to illegal immigrant parents could become president.

I couldn't agree more. Amen.

Rev. Gregori, I agree with your statements, but I think some people continue to push for these men simply because we all know now that stipulation for eligibility has been ignored in the last two elections and therefore, can be ignored again. Most people chose to ignore the fact that Obama was not constitutionally eligible and those same people are fine pretending anyone they choose is eligible. A sad, sad day in America.

But if we vote for Rubio or any other ineligible candidate, just to win an election, then are we not just as bad as those who put Obama in office, haven't we ourselves then helped our enemies to scrap and destroy our Constitution? I, for one, do not wish to be counted among that number.

Good point, Rev.  Same with Ted Cruz. Conservatives need to get off the attempts to push these two for either of the two top jobs, and start concentrating on taking the battle to the enemy - on this issue in particular and the whole shebang in general.
The Constitution awaits its defenders to step forward, front and center.

Cruz's mother was an American , he has every right to run for the office.

Larry, please get yourself up to speed with Cruz and the Constitution (and the same with Rubio): the phrase 'natural born citizen' means one born on the soil (jus soli) of two U.S. citizen parents (jus sanguinis). Just being a citizen is not sufficient for the office of either the presidency or the VP. The requirement of being a 'natural born citizen' as put in the Constitution for the presidency (and as the Constitution was amended later to include the office of the VP) was a deliberate move on the part of the constitutional Framers to make sure - at least as sure as they could - that the candidate for the presidency did not have DUAL LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES. Like a naturalized citizen. Or like a DUAL CITIZEN. Like, for good example, the Usurper in the office today.
Look what failing to call Obama and the Democrat Party on that illegality has cost the nation. And don't think to try to 'build' on that illegality, and allow arguably good people like Cruz or Rubio in. TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT. We need to get back to the rule of law in this country - i.e., the Constitution. Before it's too late; and Obama takes the country down.
For in-depth info on the 'natural born citizen' meaning go to: puzo1.blogspot.com; the video on YouTube by Prof. Herb Titus; the e-newsletter site of CDR. Charles Kerchner; etc. Whatever you do: DON'T PLAY INTO THE HANDS OF THE NATION WRECKERS.
And that includes NeoCons on the so-called 'right' who want a New World Order that THEY control. It is largely their fault that we are in the mess that we are in, under Obama, for suckering the Republican Party into not calling the Usurper on his illegal occupancy of that most important office, with great international bearing. They will be dealt with, just like the Usurper himself will, when Justice comes into the picture. As it will.
As it will.
