  • why did jesus try to teach about using money when he could have just said “money is the ultimate form of slavery”

  • Excellent observations in here.

  • As for ‘the money thing,’ tommy:

  • 1) There is extremely little evidence that 'Jesus' was a real person anyway (rather, more of an astrotheological made-up one); but in terms of the subject:

  • 2) A good guess as to why things are the way they are would be that ‘life’ – 3D illusory life, in a matrix of duality and polarity – is/has been a classroom for learning lessons in, and we have needed ‘the dark’ – opposition – in order to generate more ‘light’ (wisdom; en-light-enment). The light is sufficient now to see the purpose of the whole experience; and we can now let go of the training wheels of interest-bearing money and fractional-reserve banking, and start operating with a higher-consciousness motive than the one of profit. To say: to share goods and services with one another – and give of our best in the process – out of gratitude to our Creator for life with meaning.

  • So, yes: ‘money’ has been a form of slavery. And it can now – with the lessons well learnt (hopefully) – be released, in that form; and we can simply, as a medium of exchange, have a system of credits and debits – with both electronic and material forms – as we start our move up in consciousness to a new, higher level. Where ultimately we won’t need ‘money’ at all.

  • But all that is another subject. Related. But another step, towards Ascension.

N.B. I added quote marks around the name 'Jesus' for this posting of my Comment, because I will go into that matter in a little more detail here.

Suffice it to say that there could well have been a historical figure somewhat like the Jesus of the New Testament, but there is considerable evidence that the Jesus of the New Testament is at least primarily, as I said, an astrotheological figure.  See, in particular, the research on this matter of D.M. Murdock, who writes under the pen name of Acharya S (I don't know what the 'S' stands for; acharya means 'teacher'), and in particular her books 'The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold'; 'Who Was Jesus? - Fingerprints of The Christ'; 'Christ In Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection'; and 'Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled'.

The "somewhat" historical figure comes from the research and writings of one Ralph Ellis, and in particular his fairly recent book (2012) 'Jesus, King of Edessa'.

All very worthwhile reading.  If you're interested in the truth of things.  As opposed to the manmade story of things.  Which I have been for many years; in particular ever since a spiritual experience I had while in university, which caused me to drop out of my formal education and go searching for The Big Answers, aka capital-t Truth, on my own.

And here I am, close to the end of my life.  Still keeping an eye out, for said answers   Or at least, clues.

Which search has, most recently, caused me to come across a couple of very interesting books on psychics.  (Yes yes; one needs to be aware of the possible contamination of such 'messages' from astral-level entities, or the psychic's own subconscious.  Discernment is, indeed, required.  But the proof of the pudding is in the eating.)  The first one was by such a person named Mia Dolan, an Englishwoman, titled 'I Know Why We're Here: The True Story Of An Ordinary Woman With An Extraordinary Gift'.  (After reading it, all I can say is: Indeed.)  The second, which I am still in the process of reading, is entitled 'Adventures of a Psychic' about Sylvia Browne - an American - with Antoinette May.  Fascinating stuff, all.

If you're into that sort of thing.

The 'Truth' thing, that is.

Good hunting.
