When In Rome

I can't believe it.  The 'Defense of Family Center' has just informed me that in some states, they are starting to go by sharia law:

"A New Jersey court ruled that a Muslim man was not guilty of raping his wife because Muslim law forbids wives from refusing sex anytime, anywhere, from their husbands.*  (emphasis in original)

"Not only that, some sources estimate that more than 100,000 Muslim men in America are currently living in polygamous arrangements in defiance of U.S. law.  (emphasis in original)

"One imam said, 'This is our religion and nobody can force us to do anything against our religion.  If the laws of the (United States) conflict with Islamic (sharia) law, then I am going to follow Islamic law, simple as that.'"

I'll tell you what is as simple as that, buddy.  If you want to live in this country, you live by our laws.  Period.  That means: -

* no sharia rape law;

* no polygamy; and

* no genital mutilation.

If you can't abide by those sorts of restrictions on practicing your current religious beliefs, you have two options:

1) You can change your religious beliefs - as the Mormons did, in order to gain statehood for Utah, as regards their practice of polygamy; or

2) you can leave, and go back to a country that allows/practices sharia law.

No one is forcibly keeping you here.

Your call.

Grrrrrrrrr...............................................

* "Under sharia law, women are second class citizens.  Believe it or not, if a woman is raped she must produce four male witnesses to testify on her behalf.  If she fails to find such witnesses, she can be charged with fornication, and she can be jailed, beaten, or even executed."
   Not in this country you won't.  But to continue.
