from affluentinvestor.com: ‘My Prediction: A Cruz-Rubio Ticket’ - David Goldman - October 15
..
Neither of whom are natural born citizens and are ineligible to serve.

Precisely. Why David Goldman doesn't know this is a mystery. Why more people don't know this is a mystery, too. Until one realizes that 'most people' must simply have assumed that if Obama were not a 'natural born' citizen, the Republican Party would have made an issue of it, and nailed Obama on the issue back in '08. What they don't realize is that the Republican Party has been in on the heist - for just this purpose: to run their own ineligible candidates for those offices. Why? Because they found how difficult it was going to be to get an amendment to the Constitution on the matter. It turns out that both parties tried a total of 8 times between them, between 2003 and '08, to get such an amendment going through Congress - and they failed each time even to get their amendments out of committee, such was the sensitivity around this issue. So what did they do? They decided to do an end-around of the Constitution on the matter, and try to bluff their way by The People. And that decision is precisely what is going to send both parties to court, tried on RICO-statute charges, for colluding in the commission of a crime against the law of the land, and see them dissolved, for the criminal enterprises that they are, and of a right ought to be punished for.
This subject is not rocket science: the historical record shows absolutely that the constitutional Framers were going by the KNOWN DEFINITION of the term at the time: i.e., one born on the soil (jus soli) of (in this case, U.S.) citizen parents (jus sanguinis). That's PLURAL. As in BOTH. The whole POINT being to make sure that the person occupying that office, who would as well then become the Commander in Chief of the nation's military forces, had NO DUAL/CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES. As a naturalized citizen would be subject to. And as a DUAL citizen would MOST CERTAINLY be subject to.
As we have seen with Obama, and his lack of undivided loyalty to this nation: a perfect example of the intent of that eligibility requirement. And of our inattention to constitutional detail. Leaving it up to our political parties to keep an eye on such things for us.
More fools us.

My Prediction: Not many people are going to make it onto the 'A' Team, the way things are shaping up.
A shame.
But as I keep saying, and pointing out:
That's their choice.
