On Keeping One's Perspective

    On Keeping
One’s Perspective

               This
Is but a speck
          of dust -
          a mere
             grain
         of sand -
In the great
      scheme
Of things;
                and
     it’s still
     glorious.

And, we are still
     brought
     to earth -
     for what
     it’s worth
     to us all -
By the likes
Of stinky farts
And such great
Equalizers.
            To say:
We still all
           wipe
     our asses
The same way.

Ashes to ashes;
               dust
           to dust
In the end
For us all.
         ,,,And yet
            there
         is more
         after all.
And the heavens
             speak
             of it.

    Dimensions
           after
    dimensions;
           planes
  of existence
                like
             great
      mansions
beckoning us
    onwards
          ever
   onwards -
  the opposite
          of
   repulsion -
To our final
Destination:
          Unity
      with the
     All
    That
     Is.

     As
   I say:

  glorious.

      --

We come in
   mewling
And go out
  subdued.
   Not just
  in defeat.
          But
          in
     awe

At the enormity
      of it all.

      Grains
     of sand

    teeming
      with
      life...

  A wonder.

      A
  mystery......
