The Message, Revisited

Under a canopy

          of clouds

       I walked

Across the continent

Fifty-five years ago, now

                  to see

       the president 

             and draw 

     to his attention

                      that

              the way

To rid ourselves

Of all our aches

           and evils

Was to do away

       with money.

         And today

              I carry

         the same 

         message

                 only

   electronically

This time.  

And I do not suggest

But activate

                it.

Or at least, its

          beginning.

With the Light

            winning

The day.

   As it should

      naturally.
