Since Assad was not behind the previous gassing attack, but his enemies were, trying to pin it on him, why shouldn’t the assumption this time be on the same perps???
Come ON, Donald. You can see the lay of the land here better than that. Assad had nothing to gain by such an act. But his enemies sure did. And now we know the wisdom of the constitutional Framers in trying to make sure – at least as sure as they could, in their time – that the office of the presidency went ONLY to a person with NO DUAL OR OTHERWISE CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES OR INFLUENCES – to a ‘natural born’ citizen, i.e., a person “born in the country, of parents who are citizens”. The definition of a nbc at their time, and still an eligibility requirement for that office, absent a constitutional amendment to the contrary.
