First the copy of an article that I have just come across and then my comment.  this is from a site called the2012scenario.com, reprinted from the Russia Today site:

White House Gives Homeland Security Control of all Communication Systems

The White House has finally responded to criticism over US President Barack Obama’s hushed signing last week of an Executive Order that allows the government to command privately-owned communication systems and acknowledges its implications.

When President Obama inked his name to the Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions Executive Order on July 6, he authorized the US Department of Homeland Security to take control of the country’s wired and wireless communications — including the Internet — in instances of emergency.

The signing was accompanied with little to no acknowledgment outside of the White House, but initial reports on the order quickly caused the public to speak out over what some equated to creating an Oval Office kill switch for the Web. Now the Obama administration is addressing those complaints by calling the Executive Order a necessary implement for America’s national security.

“The [order] recognizes the creation of DHS and provides the Secretary the flexibility to organize the communications systems and functions that reside within the department as [Homeland Security Secretary Janet A. Napolitano] believes will be most effective,” White House spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden tells the Washington Post.

Hayden insists that “The [order] does not transfer authorities between or among departments,” but the order does indeed allow the DHS to establish and implement control over even the privately owned communication systems in the country, including Internet Service Providers such as Time Warner, Verizon and Comcast, if the administration agrees that it is warranted for security’s sake.

Immediately after last week’s signing, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) said the order allowed the DHS“the authority to seize private facilities when necessary, effectively shutting down or limiting civilian communications.”

Following up with the Post this week, EPIC attorney Amie Stephanovich stands by that initial explanation, agreeing that the DHS can now “seize control of telecommunications facilities, including telephone, cellular and wireless networks, in order to prioritize government communications over private ones in an emergency.”

“The previous orders did not give DHS those authorities over private and commercial networks,” adds. Stepanovich.“That’s a new authority.”

According to the order, the DHS can take charge of “commercial, government, and privately owned communications resources” to satisfy what is described as “priority communication requirements.” With little insight from outside the White House, though, what constitutes such an emergency may very well be decided on by Washington, where the country’s elected leaders are still split on all things involving the Internet.

Even still, Stepanovich says that approaching Capitol Hill for comment before rushing through an Executive Order could have caused things to come out differently, but would have also arguably brought forth a firestorm such as the one that accompanied an attempt to pass the Stop Online Piracy Act. When Congress tried to pass SOPA this year — which included provisions that were argued to grossly regulate the Internet — protests nationwide played a massive part in killing the legislation.

“This should have been done by Congress, so there could have been proper debate about it,” Stepanovich tells the Post of last week’s signing. “This is not authority that should be granted by executive order.”

White House spokesperson Hayden adds to the Post, “Mobile phones, the Internet, and social media are all now integral to the communications landscape,” concreting still the allegations that this order could be used as a kill switch to any of the millions upon millions of handheld and desktop devices across the country.

There are two assumptions going on here.  The first is mine: that this is not good news.  Summary of that perspective:

(1) 

     a) Where does it say in the Constitution, even in wartime/emergency powers legislation, that the federal executive can do anything it wants simply by labeling it a 'national security' measure??

     b) Plus, this is on top of other, recent Executive Orders issued by this man in the Oval Office - in particular, the one where he did an end-around of Congress on the 'immigration' issue, where, since he didn't get what he wanted in the so-called DREAM Act from Congress, he just unilaterally put out a ukase, like a czar - who is thereby demonstrating a complete disregard for the proper governmental procedures in our form of government, in the balance-of-powers equation.  He is acting, more and more, like a law unto himself - that he sees himself as a law unto himself.  And this is just another brick in the wall that this man is building between the executive and legislative branches of government, effectively freezing out the will of the people.  
     The people - the representatives of the people, in a republican form of government (NOT a 'direct democracy' mob that can be orchestrated to salivate when the master rings the bell) - stopped/chose not to go along with STOP -the Stop Online Piracy Act - because it was grossly over-regulating the Internet.  So Czar Obama - who appears to want to do just that, and thereby, e.g., freeze out the voices of conservative commentators - has decided to accomplish the same end by other means, at his disposal - he thinks.   
       

     c) And the Republicans are not calling him on this usurpation of powers.  Which brings me to:

(2) And why are we citizens having to get this info from Russia Today?  Does that seem a bit ironic to anybody else??  And lastly (for now):

(3) How soon before my blogs will be stopped - and all those from other sites like obamaballotchallenges and militia & Second Amendment and Tenth Amendment sites, and including such as the EPIC, and even RT - in the name of 'national security'??   

The second assumption is that of the carrying site for this article, and others like it: so-called 'spiritual' sites who believe, from the material coming through channelers and other 'high-minded' people, that Obama is of the Light, and their take on the above subject & story is that it's good! it's good! - because he can now block all the bad guys from squirreling away their ill-gotten gains while the net of the good guys closes in on them.  As per this comment at the top of this article's posting:

Steve: Perhaps let me add a word to Stephen’s explanation. A move like this in years before containment, previously known as the “mass arrests,” would have rattled everyone’s bones.

But we know that President Obama works for the Light, contrary to the cabal’s efforts to paint the picture otherwise.

And we also know that DHS would be powerless to misuse its powers at this late date. Such a move, we’ve been told many times, would be opposed by the galactics. Said SaLuSa on April 4: 

“Already the different countries and their governments have been made to understand that aggression must stop, and that we are authorized to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure there is peace. Hitherto, our intervention on your behalf was curtailed for karmic reasons, but now by Divine decree we are able to enforce the plan for your spiritual evolution. ” 

Stephen: This can only be a very good sign! It tells me things are really moving along behind-the-scenes now…

This Executive Order effectively means President Obama has shut down any control the cabal had over the world’s communications systems to move, hide and delete any funds or illegal activities. Thanks to Gene.

And if you're wrong, folks.  If you're wrong???...and you are an example of what is talked about in the Bible, wherein it says that, 'in those days':

"...even the very elect will be deceived"??

...or even - heaven forfend - the possibility that you are NOT being deceived;

and are part OF those forces that are trying to capture control on this planet.  Thinking that socialism/statism is the answer to the world's problems.  And you will do anything to help bring that new day about.

Including being deceitful.  In the belief that the end justifies the means.

The philosophy of tyrants down through the ages.

I think, rather than give up on keeping an eye on the writings of such people - for believing they could be, at the very least, dangerously led (and at the most, consciously of the Dark themselves) -  I'll keep on doing so.  

If only to continue to keep an eye on the doings of today; that I can continue to feel into the mentality, and consciousness, of The People at this crucial time in the planet's history. Let alone America's.

For all of which, I have deep concern.

That they get it right. 

And we can graduate, from this level, of the school we have been in, for eons of time. 

And really need, now, to leave behind; and move up to a higher level.

Where it will be possible instantly to know what, really, is in the heart of individuals. 

That I can be a happy camper again.

A camper, amongst my fellow sparks of Divinity, on the path, returning us all totally to the Light.

At the speed which we choose, for ourselves.
