Beck complains about the left labeling him a 'conspiracy theorist'.
- I’m going to go out on a limb here – Beck was removed from FOX because of George Soros. Beck was too effective and getting too close to the truth on Obie. I’m thinking that Soros is still on his tail and only allows Beck to continue as long as he doesn’t go near the truth of the birth certificate. Is there any question that anyone who gets too close to the truth, will be threatened or worse? I’m thinking that Beck thinks he can bring Obie down without the BC issue and if he goes with the BC issue he won’t have any platform.
It’s just a thought.

Another thought, Peggy, is that he is simply protecting his name/reputation, by not allowing himself to be called/smeared as a ‘birther,’ or ‘conspiracy theorist’ – one of them ‘crazies’ on the Right. Rather, a respectable journalist. And just so has the Left won that little battle in the war: by successfully applying the Alinsky Method, of ridiculing your opponent, rather than engaging them in a debate. Not giving them credit for having a debatable position, by smearing them. ‘Ha ha ha; look at the tinfoil hatter. C’mon everybody: laugh at them.’
It is similar to the old saying about lawyers in court; something like: If you can’t argue the law, play on the emotions. Put up a front. Beck’s ego has gotten in the way of his journalism. A shame. There was promise there.
