Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley said on Friday, February 20th, that he would “never do anything to disobey a federal court ruling” when asked about the legal fight over same-sex marriage in the Deep South state.
“We are a nation under laws,” Bentley told POLITICO. “We may not always agree with them, but we obey them.” The governor’s comments are in response to various courts redefining marriage and forcing states to comply with the redefinition contrary to the Federal Constitution and Alabama’s state constitution.
Is Gov. Bentley serious? Does he really mean that there is nothing that would stop him from obeying a federal court order? Nothing?
Does this mean that if a federal court ordered the National Guard to round up all the children who are being educated by their parents at home, he would follow that order?
What if a federal court ruled that gun ownership is no longer permitted in the United States and all guns must be confiscated? Would Gov. Bentley comply?
I'm sure you could come up with your own list...
I’m not saying that Gov. Bentley is a Nazi. I am saying that his statement is dangerous. If judges will “never do anything to disobey a federal court ruling,” we all should be worried.
Then there is the constitutional issue. The Constitution does not say one word about marriage, therefore, it doesn't have jurisdiction over defining or redefining it. The state of Alabama is in full compliance with the Constitution and the laws of its state.
It would have been nice to have heard Gov. Bentley to offer a vigorous defense of the nature of law, the Constitution, the Tenth Amendment, and the dangers of judicial supremacy.
Here’s what Thomas Jefferson had said on the subject:

with exclusive authority to decide on the constitutionality of a law has been heretofore a subject of consideration with me in the exercise of official duties. Certainly there is not a word in the Constitution which has given that power to them more than to the Executive or Legislative branches."[1] - "But the Chief Justice says, 'There must be an ultimate arbiter somewhere.' True, there must; but does that prove it is either party? The ultimate arbiter is the people of the Union, assembled by their deputies in convention, at the call of Congress or of two-thirds of the States. Let them decide to which they mean to give an authority claimed by two of their organs. And it has been the peculiar wisdom and felicity of our Constitution, to have provided this peaceable appeal, where that of other nations is at once to force."[2]

But it has proved that the power of declaring what the law is, ad libitum (at one’s pleasure], by sapping and mining slyly and without alarm the foundations of the Constitution, can do what open force would not dare to attempt."[4]
How is it possible that we have come to a point in time that five unelected judges are making laws for more than 300 million people? Why not disband Congress and nullify every state constitution to make it official that law is what five justices say it is and one president who creates fiat law through executive action.
Martin Luther King, Jr.: "One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws."

We are becoming just like nazi Germany. What Hitler and others did was not against the laws that were current in Germany. However, the "laws" and I use the term very loosely did not correspond to morals, ethics or GOD. We are fast becoming the same way as that period in Germany were [sic] the courts made "law" as they went along and became exactly the opposite of what they had previously been. Moral, ethical with a strong belief in GOD which was Germany before Hitler. Our founding fathers also said that unless this country maintained its relationship with GOD we were all doomed as we would also at that point have no morals or ethics. Ole jug ears is their prophecy come true.

MIDNIGHT RIDE: Are the British Coming Again?
In 1775 the British government wanted the Colonists' guns and sent the military to get them. Paul Revere rode hard the night of April 18, 1775, to let the Colonists' Militia know 'the British are coming'. Longfellow's classic poem called that ride the "Midnight Ride of Paul Revere."
As with the British government back then, today's government wants our guns and is pre-positioning military armaments around the nation in preparation for "Martial Law" while simultaneously establishing what then Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen dubbed in 1999 an "unequivocal and unambiguous chain of responsibility, authority and ACCOUNTABILITY

A couple of years after Cohen published that op-ed in the Washington Post the government created the U.S. Department of Homeland SECURITY (DHS), which would become the head of that chain of command.

Further, we add to that development a complexity spearheaded under DARPA in the mid-1990s which united the Department of Justice with the Department of Defense. (With no due process through Congress.) In other words, the US military was merged with Civil Law Enforcement at the Department of Justice, where we find the ATF, DEA, FBI, and other ill-reputed agencies -- and all of that is now interconnected with the Department of Homeland SECURITY'S "Fusion Centers".

Finally we note at the Washington Post's Top Secret America website that more than a thousand and nine hundred private-sector businesses are contracted to various government agencies and departments to conduct Psychological Operations on the American public, in a covert effort to induce what Brzezinski calls a "consensus" on desired governmental policy.
The American public is being conditioned to accept an "emergency-based" military-police state command structure which ranges outward from DHS through the Pentagon, FEMA and the Department of Justice, and uses Fusion Centers to coordinate the profiling of dissent among the population. Some of the profiles which have made their way into public awareness in the alternative media include "Constitutionalists", "returning war veterans" and "Ron Paul supporters". Pastor Chuck Baldwin, a frequently-published author here at NewsWithViews.com, was personally named in one Fusion Center profile report which got leaked to the public in 2009.
So today the alert, awake, and aware average American knows that "the government is coming". Yet too many somnambulistic and comfortable Americans remain unaware of this mounting threat, and must be warned. INDEED, it is time for:

Yes, the spirit of resisting tyranny is as "American" today as it was in 1775 -- although often overlooked.
