Speaking of Voting...

Pet Peeve No. 1776:

Thank you, Texas, for helping to bring some sanity to the voting situation in this country. All elections should be suspended until Voter Integrity laws are brought in all over the country - the voter reg rolls cleaned (to the satisfaction of a bipartisan committee) and voter photo ID laws brought in everywhere. I'm sick and tired of my vote being canceled out by illegal voters, and am on vote strike, until the U.S. can do at least as good a job with its voting as most Third World countries.

Clean Elections Or No Elections. And put teeth in it: Every State needs to meet a certain 'clean' level, or their votes do not count in federal elections. We need to mean this cleanup.

And I do mean it.  No more voting machines, unless they can be proven to be tinker-proof; which I doubt can ever be the case.  A clear paper trail.  Even a voter having their finger dipped in purple ink, if we have to go to such lengths, to 

BRING SOME SANITY TO THIS SITUATION.

Geez Louise.  It's so basic.........


........unless this is, really, The End.  And we either, individually, progress.  Having learned our lessons sufficiently.

Nobody is going to do this to you.  Or be responsible for you.

That's why it is satanic to give over your personal responsibility to 'the state'.

That 'vote' doesn't count.

Not in your favor, at least.
