The Earth, Ascending

The Earth

To the cosmos

Is like Britain

To the Roman Empire.

An outpost.

Nothing more.

     Nevertheless

                     it is

A jewel -

            a pearl

Of great price.

      And Arthur

            will be

Avenged

            in

The End.

                  God

May be mocked

For a time

        and season.

But wilt not be mocked

         forever.

And extraordinary times

         require

Extraordinary measures.

And ears

To hear.
