"The caliber of the man," Cathie? "The man" who KNOWS that he is not eligible for the office, for not being a 'natural born' citizen (as understood by the constitutional Framers; which eligibility requirement has never been changed by a constitutional amendment), and has decided to try to make two wrongs make a right, after the illegal nomination and election of the Usurper in the Oval Office as we speak?? "The man" who calls himself a 'constitutional scholar,' but who is willing to bend the Constitution to its breaking point, for his personal aggrandizement, and the best-laid plans of the New World Order gang, who want to bring the federal constitutional republic of the U.S.A. down, and make of it merely a part of a region of their totalitarian NWO???
Bah.

- Thank you, HCUA. And help spread the word on this atrocious matter. Never let anybody force you to deny Truth.
Two good sources to quote: E. de Vattel's 'The Law of Nations, Or Principles of Natural Law,' Book One, Ch. XIX, Sect. 212; and puzo1dotblogspotdotcom. And may Truth prevail, in the end.

I agree that sometimes there can be ambiguities about meanings. But not with the example given, e.g., of a 'Natural Born Citizen'. The meaning of that term is very clear from the historical record as to what it meant to the constitutional Framers, and to say was understood to mean at the time. It is from the definitive tome of the day on such matters, E. de Vattel's 'The Law of Nations, Or Principles of Natural Law': "The natives, or natural born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens...those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers..." People can play shell games with the term all the want; but the eligibility requirement itself for the office of the president of the U.S. still stands, absent a constitutional amendment to the contrary. Of which, there has been none. Zilch. Nada.
Although there have been attempts; when between 2003 and 2008 alone, both major political parties tried a total of 8 times between them to get just such an amendment starting through Congress - proposals having this matter as their common denominator - and failed each time even to get their proposals out of committee, such was the sensitivity around this particular issue. So: they knew. And know. So, what have they done about it? They have conspired to pretend that there is ambiguity around the issue, or that the term has changed over the years. But - as I say - the eligibility requirement ITSELF still stands. And that will be their downfall, once The People wake up to the hijack of their country that is going on. And has been gong on, for long enough.

Very simply, natural born means a citizen at birth. Not naturally born means you became a citizen later in life.

Not so. You need to have been born in the country (or its equivalent) to parents who are citizens thereof, to be e 'natural born' citizen. Just being born a citizen won't do. As proven by the fact that Alexander Hamilton, as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention proceedings, made a proposal that the president need only be "born a Citizen" - and his proposal was SPECIFICALLY TURNED DOWN, in favor of the more stringent 'natural born' category of citizen. The whole POINT of the exercise on the part of the constitutional Framers (and as underscored by the 7/25/1787 letter from John Jay to G. Washington, in his role as Chair of the proceedings) being to make sure that the occupant of that office, who would as well then become the Commander in Chief of the nation's military forces, had NO DUAL OR OTHERWISE CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES OR INFLUENCES. Had SOLE ALLEGIANCE to the U.S.
Check out the blog site of Attorney Mario Apuzzo at puzo1dotblogspotdotcom, for detailed info on all these questions. One among many of excellent sites on the subject.

...and the Constitution continues hanging by a thread...
...and I continue hanging in there with it:
Cruz saw how easy it was for Ovomit to lie about citizenship so he thought he would give it a spin. We don’t have any patriotic men of authority standing up for our country anymore. We’re in deep do do.

from rickwells.us: ’Ted Cruz Has No US Citizenship Of Any Kind - One Week To Drop Out’ - Rick Wells - April 11
(JB Williams of eh North American Law Center thinks he has some goods on Cruz, and he and Constitutional Attorney Steven Pidgeon will let it out of the bag unless he owns up to his ineligibility for the office of POTUS within 2 weeks of the date of April 3. That’s April 17th…)
..
Have at it, gentlemen. And don’t spare the horses.

Ted Cruz says in his own book that he first got a US passport in high school , for a trip to Europe. That would mean that he came to the US as a Canadian citizen and an alien. … Even if he used the “Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952” before he was 18 to claim his US citizenship through his mother — he would still be a naturalized citizen at birth -and- NOT a ‘natural born’ (by birth) citizen. Article 1 Section 2 clause five of the Constitution *excludes* all other citizens (naturalized by enactments of Congress), except ‘natural born’ citizens — born in country, of citizen parents. Our Constitution has been irrelevant to DC and our Federal and State governments for the past 40 years. It cannot take another tear, no matter the emotional thinking of those so desperate to believe their candidate. If we don’t up-hold the Constitution and it’s plain meaning, we cannot expect the Harvard trained lawyers or the Courts to.

Indeed, Bob. This thing is up to us, as the sovereigns in our own right, in this country. Not subjects to crown or clergy or oligarchy or outright despot.
Time to take our country back.

If Obozo’s citizenship depended on him being born in Hawaii and not Kenya then why is this any different ?,

Because it didn’t, Thors. That was part of the coverup that was going on regarding the Usurper – by both political parties. Who have wanted to take down the Constitution’s requirement of a nbc for the office of the presidency for a long time (which by original definition, and still the eligibility requirement, is a person born in the country to parents who are its citizens), and decided to just do it and to hell with the American public OR the Constitution. They figured that between them they control both the mainstream media and the courts. It is a brazen act of treason, and both political parties need to be taken down for it, being dissolved by RICO statutes, for being criminal enterprises. And the trial held in a legitimate court – a Constitutional court, not a Maritime court, the latter a system that has been foisted on us all unknowingly by the average American. All of which is to come out, as we TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK, from our erstwhile Masters, busily setting up their totalitarian New World Order. And forgetting that ‘the best-laid schemes of mice and men oft go astray’. Which it is up to We the People to make happen.
