While America Slept

            Aka
'Freedom Is Not Free'

Americans have been sending troops around the world making it safe for U.S. access to their resources on the one hand,1 and been trying to earn a living, while the Middle Class has been hollowed out, on the other.  All, while the enemy has crept surreptitiously amongst us in their sheepskin suits.

Item.  They have taken over control of our educational institutions,2 where they have slyly been brainwashing our children to believe that, indeed, the U.S. is The Great Satan' - for, fundamentally,  its emphasis on 'freedom' - in order, in the minds of the Marxists, and their propagandizing of their charges, to pollute the environment,3 and living too high on the hog while the rest of the planet's peoples are starving, and so forth, and so on, in a deliberate disavowal of 'Western Civilization,' and its progenitor, 'white supremacists' class.  The chosen enemy of the Marxists, to rally their charges around.

That the U.S. has also done many good works around the world, via both its collective government and its individual citizens, is just one of those expected 'contradictions,' in Marxist terms.  Not to be taken seriously, in the overall scheme of things.  In the face of the real matter:

the revolution.

What has set me off with anger regarding all this business is a letter in today's mail from the Young America's Foundation, the organization keeping alive amongst our young people the principles championed by President Ronald Reagan.  It pointed out some specifics about that lack of knowledge and awareness of our history amongst our children.  Referring to some recent polls:

* "Only one in three know that General George Washington was the American General at Yorktown during the Revolutionary War."4

* "78 percent don't know about Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.

* "Nearly 2/3 of our teenagers don't know the purpose of the Bill of Rights."5

Furthermore:

"Many young people can't identify the Second World War or even name our enemies during that conflict."

WHAT???!!!

This is, simply put, vandalism on our history.  Mimicking the vandalism going on right now, with the tearing down of various statues and monuments.  All, for a purpose beyond the one that our people are being given.  In our mainstream media.

Which brings me to another, and my penultimate, point.  Which is the extraordinary control that TPTB have been able to exercise over our MSM.  Especially when, without a free press, a free people cannot long endure; need the oxygen of information, to be able to sustain themselves. 6

And my final point, is the massive control that the Left has been able to exercise, through that kept press, and via George Soros-funded organizations leading the charge, over the area of elections - the foundation stone for government by The People - and common sense measures towards Election Integrity, like the need for photo ID cards, and regularly cleansed voter registration rolls; all such measures being accused by the Left of being 'voter suppression'.

Well; yes.  Indeed.  Suppression of those who should not be voting, in the way of being illegal, or dead, or doppelgangers...


So: Plenty to be unhappy about, in today's world.

Thanks be that it is all going to be over soon.  In the rise of a New Day.

When all the corruption has been wrung out of this one.  Because (altogether now):

1 And hence a meeting place between the idealistic youth on the Left and the staunch American patriots on the Right: neither of whom want to see the U.S. playing imperial agent for TPTB.
   And there are other places where we can meet on common ground, in common cause.  Especially for the planet's wellbeing.  But to continue.
   (Although, to that last point: Think 'conservative'.  The basic meaning thereof.)

2 Any student of what is going on will soon come across the material of Antonio Gramsci, the Marxist theoretician and politician who championed the concept of 'the long march through the institutions' - i.e.,  the patient, Fabian-like takeover of a country through its institutions, of learning, politics, the media - the works.
   Which has been going on in this country for a long time.  And conservatives?  Where have they been, while all of this has been going on??
   Earning a living, on the one hand.  And assuming that 'the Republican Party would do something about it' on the other.  Hey, amigos - the Republican Party has been doing something about it.
   Colluding in it.

3 I'm not sure how many of our youth understand that the whole 'Anthropogenic Global Warming- cum-Climate Change' thing is the creation, and creature, of the corporate players in this drama, as part of their brainwashing of the youth to support their takeover of the planet, behind the scenes of the Marxists out in front of the cameras for them.  Some of them understand this agenda.  I would wager that most of the naive ideologues amongst them do not.
   And so are due for a rude awakening,   Either before, or after, the boom comes down on the set.

5 And I would venture to say that none of them know that James Madison (that guy who is, or at least was, known as the Father of the Constitution???) even argued against a Bill of Rights (securing our - The People's - rights from what might become in time an overweening federal government), for its possibly leading to the assumption in people's minds that the federal government was being given any such powers in the proposed Constitution to have to be spelled out as contrary to the powers being allotted to it.  Said powers being limited and delegated - "few and defined," in his rather authoritative words.  And so the Bill of Rights is simply a list of some of the rights and powers not being bequeathed to the federal government.  Is simply some examples of said rights and powers.  (See the 9th and 10th Amendments in this regard.)
   But how right Madison has been proven to be...with people - shyster lawyers, mainly - trying to interpret various words in the Bill of Rights down to a fine point.  Drawing attention away from Madison's fine point.

6 Only half a dozen 'people' control the massive bulk of the mainstream media in this country.  Which is monopolistic, and should never have been allowed to come into being.
   But that's power for you.
   Only so to speak.
