Excuse me? That's a strange thing to say. Members of orchestras are based on ability (and interest). Not 'diversity'. Shall we have more white faces in the 100-meter dash Olympic Finals on the same basis?? You don't think there would be a black face or two in there, in this day and age of raging PC, if there WEREN'T some black American classical-type musicians in the USAF up to the required skill level or interest??? And before you start playing the race-card instrument, know that my belief is that we are all One under the skin. And I'm sure you can do a better job of demonstrating it than you are currently doing. (As could a lot of us; granted.)

I could have said "This is not the U.S Air Forced Band," but I didn't want to cause more of a commotion in the person - or readers of the thread - than I may already have done. And not that I'm proud of my response. ('Boy, did I put a move on him, eh? Eh?? Left'im suckin' air, man.') But it's a sore issue with me, this PC/'diversity' business, and I just couldn't resist, couldn't help saying something in response to the person's posting. (Nobody else on the thread rose to the bait.) I was also thinking of saying something along the lines of, "But I simply don't agree that it should be a matter of population-proportionate representation, or based on a policy of 'preferential treatment'. That's greasy kid stuff. It's not something you order." But that may have been a bit too much. Less is more, sometimes.
Anyway. …But this business of walking around blacks with kid gloves has got to go. Just the other day I saw a grab from a mainstream news show wherein the male newsreader was reporting on the proposed cutting somewhat of the food stamp allowance - to help in the general need for spending cuts in the current budget crisis - and he was positively rooting for riots amongst food stamp recipients. (I jest; but barely.) What???!!! I thought. What is this??? And then I realized: This is what 'they' want. The PTB. They want to goad some sort of confrontation in the country, in order to get their excuse for a declaration of Martial Law by presumptive President for Life, Barack Hussein Obama; who is going to lead the U.S. into the Promised Land, of a mere regional member (no 'exceptionalism' there, or wanted) of their long-planned-for New World Order.1 Never mind that many food stamp recipients are ineligible for them. (The supermarkets couldn't care less; they're making theirs on the deal.) Nor that it is the big-bank fraternity - together with their Big Ag buddies - that make the big bucks from the program; and stiff poor Joe Average in the process, who, with his taxes paying for it all, is left holding an empty bag of groceries for himself and his family. Soon to be on the same dole. Because what is wanted is a nation of dependents on the government; and thereby, a nation of stupid, docile sheep. For, you don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Any potential racial-minority rioter could look at that sort of reporting and be excused somewhat for thinking, 'Hey - they expect us to riot. Well; why not. It's our food stamps. So let's do it. Or they'll think we're just a bunch of pan- - oh, can't say that no more. They is on our side now. And callin' a pansy a pansy is as bad as callin' one of us a nigger. This is war, now. We need as many on our side as we kin git.'
And, like, single moms. And university prof- oh, no. They wouldn't stoop so low, as to be caught in the trenches that they helped to manifest. Their job is to be behind the scenes…2
I feel some of you thinking, Wait a minute. He's confused. He's got both fascists and socialists in the mix, of The Powers That Be. That can't be right. Can it??
A: Yes, it can. And is. The powers behind Obama know that, as Lenin said, "The capitalists will sell us the rope to hang themselves with." And that you don't show all of your cards at the beginning of the game, or you may never get your chance to get into the running for the big pot. And the powers behind them know that, at the end of Der Tag, they will end up on top. It doesn't matter to The Top Dogs who owns the industries, because it is only nominal ownership anyway. They own the System. Because they own the money.
As for the 'pansies'. There is a story on its own; and which indicates why The Real PTB don't care which road people take to get to the top of the (ant) hill; they are already there.
Briefly: Chemicals in the environment cause, amongst other dis-ease conditions, the LGBT spectrum (for affecting the pregnant female's hormonal levels at a particular, early stage of her pregnancy, and the fetal development, when the brain is being given its signature).3 The 'fascists' say no to environmental clean-up costs, because that would adversely affect the bottom line, which is the be-all and end-all of their existence. The 'socialists' say, Hmm. This could be played to our advantage, you know. No. 1: It undercuts the family unit; so that the state can take over the primary role of parental authority. And No 2, it creates an oppressed class of citizens; and that's right up our alley. Don't be too heavy on the 'environment' issue; we can use this crisis.
'But...'
'I know, I know. But I'm just saying that we shouldn't be in too great a haste to clean up the LGBT 'cause,' as it were; snicker snicker. And in fact, we should be in a great haste to smear anybody who tries to make it all out as 'abnormal'. Like…'
(all together:) 'Christians!'
'Ri-i--i-ght. You got it. Two birds.'
'But what about scientists??'
'What about scientists?'
'You mean…'
'Ve haf ways to make them not talk. It's called, in a word: 'reputation'. Access to research grants; and so forth. Come on. You may think that this is using people. But it's worth it.'
'Because…'
'Right. Because…'
(all together:) 'The end justifies the means.'
And in such a 'system,' just make sure that you're on the right side. No matter which side that is, politically speaking. Because that 'system' will eat you alive - like the creature of the Dark that it is - if you fall out of favor with it. Because…
Right Got it. Go to the head of the class.
And then class dismissed. For today.

2) This is all called the Cloward-Piven Strategy, after the two Columbia University social 'engineers' who dreamed up the scheme. The scheme, of bankrupting the capitalist-system government, under the weight of welfare 'entitlement' expectations, so that the system could destruct - be destructed, purposely - and the socialists could make their takeover move.
3) There are other causes of skewed brain development of the fetus (resulting in female-patterned brains being 'wired' into genetically male bodies and vice versa and every abnormal spectrum stage in between). But this chemicals-in-the-environment one is a major player in what has been going down for some time, and long enough, now. For too long; for a truly healthy society.
Skewed sexuality - 'gender identity' - is a canary in a coal mine. And we have been persuaded not to notice that life-saving fact. The saving of the life of the culture, as is. Which some people don't want.
