The Way We Were...

A good era in human life.  May we retain the essence of it as we move on, to the new shores awaiting us.

...Salutes to The Greats of Days Past...

It reminds me of the solo that never was...

Well.  Another time, perhaps.  But just for today, here, now:

this bucolic scene, contrasted with the reality beyond these parts, like a faint and distant artillery barrage, of deculturalization going on; the insect-like mentality of 'our Tribe' ruthlessly - Ruthlessly?? - employing the likes of Islam and 'gender identity' skewing - and a huge percentage of the populace made deliberately dependent on the federal government for their daily bread - like a tool to pry America from its roots in Christianity and the notion of the principle of the primacy of the individual in human affairs, over that of the state; whereby the primary purpose of government is to protect and defend The People's God-given rights.

And the band plays on...

...like the poor, unfortunate, obedient band members on the Titanic; as it sank slowly in the sea of another place, another time.  But just as surely, for all that.

...but this business of so many Christians not 'getting it,' in their blind devotion to a belief system...For example, a dedicated Christian with his eyes wide open - selectively - in keeping a close one on the Jade Helm 15 exercise, precursor to takeover, or worse (i.e., takeover in its own right; the perpetrators possibly not trusting that they can get a second bite at that cherry) wouldn't let me post a comment on one of his articles, because - I have deduced from a comment that he has subsequently made to another poster (who inquired if he had read the Talmud) - I made 'disparaging' reference to Israel.  I asked him if he weren't aware that "ISIS was a creature of the CIA, Saudi intelligence, and Mossad," and pointed out the motto of the latter, as 'By Deception We Shall Wage War' - as they have proven over the years in spades; and in particular by how they seem to love to dress up as Arabs, and do their false-flag numbers in drag, as it were.  But he wouldn't have any of it.  Whether it's because he believes that the Jews can do no wrong - as The Chosen Ones - or because he is afraid of being smeared by the 'anti-Semitic' patrol, I don't know. But it evidences a possibly fatal chink in his understanding of

The Way Things Are.

And the band plays on; as the sun sets slowly in the west........

Well; it would.  Wouldn't it.

Things being the way they are.


P.S. Disclosure:
     I am not a Christian.  There are human fingerprints all over the New Testament in particular, and the Bible in general.  But I will defend to the death the right of people to believe in a Higher Power, and thus think outside of the material box; and the Judeo-Christian tradition is a fundamental part of the rooting and subsequent life of this nation.
     And that's why atheists, and Dark force acolytes, want to do it in.  Such rooting stands in the way between their attempts to take it over, and its citizenry not going along with their chicanery and deceit.
     Great qualities to ground a 'New World Order' in, wouldn't you say???.........

P.P.S. The Supreme Court has done itself unproud, by not having Kagan and Ginsburg being recused from the Same-Sex Marriage case and vote.*
     That vote therefore was illegal.  And therefore will not stand, in The (True) New Order of Things.
     And the band plays on......

     * Who by lawful rights should have recused themselves, for having clearly demonstrated prior bias in personal involvement on an an issue before the court - and at the least, Chief Justice Roberts should have acted on the matter.
