Making Change Happen

On this particular Sunday, and as I continue to survey the modern scene, with all of its head-shaking aspects, I like to think that I have by my presence here and relentless search for the truth of things put pressure on the warp and woof of our time and space continuum to yield up even the larger Truth of things,1 and especially regarding Christianity, and the fable of Jesus 'recorded' - or more accurately, transmitted - in the New Testament; when there is actually no solid evidence from the historical record that there even ever was such a person. At least not as depicted in that 'record,' complete with all manner of contradictions, inconsistencies and anachronisms in it; and which is a mishmash of themes extant at that time of other 'sons of god' - and, as the NT story-telling unfolded over the years, of themes brought in and dropped into/added to the narrative in order to depict the (composite) figure Jesus as fulfilling Old Testament prophecy, as interpolations into/enhancing the marvelous story of a marvelous miracle-worker.2

As a pope is said to have said once: "How profitable this fable of Christ has been to us and our company."3

And having said all of this, a point:

Who was Jesus?
                  Jesus
   was somebody
   who gave people
           Hope
           when they
           didn't
           have any.
        Even if
        he wasn't
        literal.
But now, it's time
             to drop
      the pretense
     and discover
     the Jesus
     inside
     of us.

For, as we navigate
The turbulent waters
Between the Scylla
Of socialism
On the Left
And the Charybdis
Of fascism
On the Right
We will need
All the help
We can get.
From within ourselves.
         And that's
A fact.
             Not
Hopium.

1 If we can 'make rain,' and affect the Northern Lights, for examples, we can affect the consciousness of those around us (in this 'force field' that we not only inhabit but are embedded in, and are thus an integral part of; capable of affecting the Whole, just as we are of being affected by it), and thus 'inspire' individuals to bring about that which we are meaning to manifest, in our pure intentions.
Unfortunately, in our less-than-pure intentions as well.  Aa any adept practitioner of black magic knows.  So let's get cracking on the 'lighter' half of that equation.  And bring an end to this 3D Drama (designed to 'catch our consciences').  Before the Dark gets any stronger than it already is.  And understands more fully how much power we can - all - command.  As aspects of our Creator.
Verily, creators ourselves.  As we awaken, more and more fully, to our individual, and collective, potential.

2 See, for good example: 'Who Was Jesus?  Fingerprints of The Christ' - by D.M. Murdock, aka Acharya S.  Also her 'The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold'.  Also the book 'Man Made God' by Barbara G. Walker.  And 'Jesus, King of Edessa' by Ralph Ellis.
I could go on, and on, and on………and on.  And on.  And on…………

3 Attributed to Pope Leo X, in good humor at a Good Friday banquet in the Vatican in 1514 in the company of seven 'intimates'.  A skeptic has been attributed as actually behind it: one John Bale, 16th century satirist and playwright, a former Catholic who became disenchanted with the corruption of the Catholic Church.  He is said to have written a parody titled 'The Pageant of the Popes' in which this line is said to appear (as translated for our modern ears).
As for me: I couldn't possibly comment.

And - sigh - the battle goes on, between the Left and the Right; only the Left is no longer a legitimate 'liberal' Left, but an ideological, far-left Left.  Example:

from TeaPartyC.C..com: 'Fight erupts over university's censorship of student speech' - posted by Natl Dir Dee - Jan. 11 (orig. posted at wnd.com - Jan. 10)
("McAdams was suspended from his teaching duties last month for criticizing an ethics instructor at the university [Marquette] in his Nov. 9 blog post, relaying how the instructor told her students that “gay rights” would not be debated in class because the issue was 'already settled.'
"The instructor, a graduate student, was recorded after class telling a student that voicing opinions opposing same-sex “marriage” would not be tolerated in class because it was 'not appropriate' and 'would be offensive' to homosexual students, who would consider opposing views 'homophobic'…”)

We note the one-way ratchet that the Left is using on all issues.  They get their position in place - say, single-sex marriage - and then use their 1-way ratchet on it, so that the issue can't be taken back to a 'debate' position.
Clever.
Disgusting.
I can remember when being 'liberal' had some positive aspects about it.  A liberal EDUCATIONarrow-10x10.png, and so forth.  Now it's simply left-wing ideological.  A travesty.  In any event: Beware 'liberals' using the 'hate' word.  Anything they don't like is labeled 'hate speech'.  To be outlawed.  By the police state that they are busily erecting in America.
Not in my country, you won't.  Obama & Co.: here comes the backlash.  And in spades.

When reading the above article, I was reminded of how, when I came back to the States from my sojourn in the far country of the north of Scotland - living in a spiritual community, four many years; and so largely outside of the slowly-developing 'trends' of the outside world - I voiced, on an Internet forum site of & for former community members, my concerns about Obama, having found out that he was not actually eligible for the presidential office.  I was rounded on in general, and specifically labeled by one of those erstwhile spiritual community 'graduates' as engaging in, quote, "hate speech".

The mind boggles.

We do, indeed, have our work cut out for us…

…with the statists on both sides of the political aisle having become far too strong.  So strong that, on the one hand, they can pull off a false-flag op of the horrific caliber of 9/11 - very successfully labeling anybody who questioned it as being a tinfoil-hat-wearing 'conspiracy theorist' - and, on the other hand, can go so far as to label, in the free-speech environment of a prestigious university (if free speech can't be practiced at a university, where can it be practiced???), any discussion on the very serious socio-political issue of same-sex marriage as 'hate speech' and not, therefore, to be tolerated.

We need to stop these erstwhile tyrants in their tracks.  On both sides of the political aisle.  And get back to one of the founding principles of this once-blessed nation:

free speech.

For the world.

That, you see, is one of our jobs.  In this sorry old world.  Needing our best shot.  To get it back on track.  To its rightful conclusion.   That being:

Ascension.

Out of the muck and mire of 3D-consciousness 'living'.

And up a grade.

Or two.

Or - hell -

let's go for broke:

the Full Monty!  Being One!

While we're at it.

...

Although, come to think of it:

From where we are at, right now…

that would be quite a leap.

As we begin the wrapping-up stage of

The Play.
