from universalfreepress.com: ‘Why Does VA Routinely Strip Veterans Of Their Second Amendment Rights? Sen Grassley Wants Answers’ - Rick Wells - April 19
(“On Monday Senator Chuck Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder asking for an explanation as to why so many Veterans are having their names added to what is effectively a no-gun list and being deprived of their Second Amendment rights…”)

Thank you, Rick. Excellent article.
Nothing could be more obvious as a sign of this (illegal) administration's intention to take over the country from within than its attempts, like this, to get weapons out of the hands of Veterans - who know how to use them, and use them effectively.
I am by nature a peaceful man. But I will not stand by and watch my country being taken over by tyrants. The spirit of the birth of this nation still lives in some of us. All would-be tyrants: Beware of going too far. We may be slow to being aroused. But once aroused, we can be a tiger. And you really don't want to try to ride this tiger. It will not lose its freedom. And you are likely to lose more than an arm and a leg in the fray.

Later. Flying the flag. After having, last night online, appreciated a young woman, formerly in the Air Force I believe was the arm of her service, on a campus somewhere in the east of the nation who 'rescued' the flag from being desecrated - actually trampled on - by a bunch of rowdies on her campus, blacks apparently protesting racism in America. (What they are being conditioned to do. By the statists amongst us, who want a racial confrontation, in order to usher in Martial Law, and total takeover. Another story.) Yes, they have a right to desecrate the flag. And, people like that brave young woman - especially those who have served their country under that flag - have a right to save it from being desecrated. As I said in my Comment to the story: "I stand beside her."
(Not sure why I wrote 'beside,' rather than 'with'. Possibly because of the line in the patriotic song nudging my subconscious, 'Stand beside her,/And guide her,/Thru the night with a Light from above.')
She was at one point wrestled to the ground by some police - for failing to release the flag, which she had rolled up on its pole and clutched tightly with both hands to her chest - handcuffed with both hands behind her (thus how they got the flag away from her firm grasp), and put in the back of a police car and driven off; all recorded on someone's cell phone. As it turned out, neither the students involved nor the school administration nor the police pressed charges against her. Well decided. Or that could have been the second shot heard 'round the world, in this age of smart phones and the Internet.
N.B. 4/20: I see that it turns out that that young woman involved in the flag fracas (it was in Georgia; and yes, she was an Air Force Vet) may have done it at least in part for the publicity, having posed in the nude with a covering flag before. I have two things to say to that:
1) It doesn't change the basic matter.
2) I would rather see the flag used in the latter way than being trampled on the ground in ill humor.
P.S. Of course a Vet is going to come to the rescue of the flag. It stands for what he or she put their lives on the line for. They're not going to stand for its desecration.
Which is obviously why Obama and his administration are trying to get as many Vets as possible either to die off or to be denied access to guns. They are a potent force to be reckoned with. Love of country is not going to die amongst them. At least not as easily as it has been programmed out of the younger generation.
Which is, as President Reagan warned, all it takes for liberty ("freedom" in his precise wording) to die.

And this evening, in response to a mailing from an outfit wanting to drum up support - and donations - to impeach Obama, I have written, at the end of their list of '40 Charges Serving As A Basis For Articles Of Impeachment Against Barack Hussein Obama (For immediate submission to U.S. House of Representatives)':
"Obama's 'crowning' crime (said with irony intended) is that he is there illegally - should never have been there in the first place, for not being a "natural born" citizen.* & so he simply needs to be arrested.
"Are you men or are you mice?? The mice in the matter are supposed to be those whose best-laid plans your type is supposed to be making go awry. Or those who have been playing while the constitutional cat has been away; ignored by both Executive & Congress. That's the real crime here.
"Congress simply needs to set it right. Or The People will have to take matters into their own hands."

Will I ever get tired of posting these sorts of notices back to the various groups who send me material for info & donations? Probably not.
And helped along now, by the 'witness' of that young woman.
Go Patriots.
And speaking of:
Someone really needs to ask the Obama administration officials, straight out:
'Why are you people calling patriots 'potential domestic terrorists'? What do you have in mind for the nation??'

On Patriot's Day.
Reporting - as ever - for duty.

...and then, in a posting from patriotsforamerica, its caretaker, Harry Riley, posted a short, passionate video of President Ronald Reagan speaking of the American that - once was???...my take on that:
