I don't know why there's not a huge groundswell of action to eliminate the electronic voting machines in every state and require paper ballots ONLY, to have a clear paper trail - and with certifiably cleansed voter reg rolls to start with. No more ineligible voters, including dead voters and duplicate voters, and someone liable for the certification process, or huge fines imposed for discovered false outcomes.
Either we mean business. Or we are certifiably insane, based on Einstein's famous dictum on such matters.

Excellent point, Missy12524. Thanks for adding it to this comment. I thought to add such 'wrinkles' as mandatory exit polls, but didn't want to clutter the post up with too many details. Not to detract from the main one; ALL ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES - OUT. They have proven too hackable in too many ways. It is an utter disgrace.

Something wrong here. I tried to get where Ben was coming from - and I finally got it. Actually, I got it when I read that he thinks that 'Russia invaded Ukraine'. Answer: Ben is not a conservative per se. He is an internationalist.
Ben, the West - led by the U.S. State Department, with Victoria Nuland in the lead - screwed Ukraine, with their nifty little overthrow job, and Putin responded to help the Russian-speaking East Ukraine save themselves from the geopolitical crap going on in their country. And Crimea chose their fate freely - overwhelmingly - by the electoral process.
And criticizing Trump for being against the sovereignty-destroying likes of the TPP?…Your special-interest political bias is tainting your 'conservatism', Ben.

What needs to happen?
The Usurper is arrested, and held for trial. All of his minions in the executive branch departments and agencies - especially the DHS - are neutralized. The authorities of the two major political parties are taken to court under RICO-statute laws, for conspiring to defraud The People of the U.S. in the undercutting of the rule of law, i.e., the Constitution, by running ineligible candidates for the office of the presidency. Elections are called off, at the very least until the electoral process is cleaned up. And I mean, CLEANED UP. Top to bottom. All corruption cleaned out, in that area, and every other area of political life in this country.
And we go from there.
