Jottings...

…On A Slow Day

The Answer

In the beginning
           there was
   The Sound
And The Sound
           was
           God
And The Sound
         was
    with God.
We are each
             notes
                   of
The Sound.
When we are
In harmony with
         The Sound,
          all
Is well.
    When we are
                 out of
   harmony with
The Sound,
                      all
                      is
       not well.
There is
Disharmony.
And, indeed,
There is.
And it is
              up
       to us
       to do
Something
         about
         it.
            Not
           up
           to
The Sound.

        Sound
Your note
Better.
             Not
    necessarily
Louder
             or
Softer.

Better.

And therein
              lies
The Answer.

               For
We are
             all
      in this
    symphony
     together.

      That is
       to say
       in
      another
            way
      that We
      Are
      All
            One.

A Sign Of The Times

    We Need
       to put
      A Sign
        up
        on
       the
White House
       door:
     'Under
       New
Management'.

       And
   mean it
       this
     Time.

And speaking of the latter idea, of a major change; a 'note' (to say) of awareness:

The role of banks was to facilitate economic activity - the trade in goods and services.  Not to make money themselves, in and for itself.  That could fairly be a consequence of the facilitation of trade. Not a purpose.  Because then, the bankers do such venal and insidious things as incite wars, in order to make money for themselves - with interest.

It is precisely like money itself.  When it is used for the facilitation of trade - the means to that end - it is a valuable tool, and servant.  When it becomes an end in itself, it becomes a fearsome master.  As we have learned - hopefully - to our enlightenment regarding such things.  And regret, that we didn't learn it sooner.

And that's enough pontificating for now.

'Bye.   (couldn't resist)
