Just got a letter from Sen. Marco Rubio, opening with:
"Dear Mr. Stanfield,
"I need to know if I can count on your support in 2016." (Author's emphases throughout.)
Well; that depends, Senator. Let me read on here…
"As I traveled around the country raising funds and rallying voters for Republican Senate candidates during 2014, activists, reporters and even other Republican leaders continually asked me: What are my plans for 2016?
"I've received a great deal of encouragement to consider running for president, but the only race I'm running for right now is the U.S. Senate. I haven't made a decision to run for any other office…"
The letter goes on in that vein for four pages - including eleven uses of the expression 'the American Dream' (an obvious hint as to the theme for his run for the presidency??) - until he finally stops the fluffing around and concludes with:
"As a Member of our new Republican Senate Majority, I am looking forward to doing everything possible to begin putting our nation back on track. I am currently only running for reelection to the U.S. Senate…
"… But we won't be able to fully stamp out Barack Obama's liberal legacy until we re-elect a Republican Congress and elect a Republican President in 2016…"
So that's clear enough. Along with the fact that the bumper sticker enclosed in this fund-drive appeal says 'Marco Rubio 2016'…
"Mr. Stanfield, I appreciate all you have done to support my drive to protect the American Dream…"
My response (sans monetary Pledge of Support):
"Dear Senator Rubio,
"Just to make sure that you read my support for you in the 2016 elections right:
"You are NOT a "natural born citizen," according to any decently logical definition of the term, and eligibility requirement for the office of the presidency - and that particular federal office only (including now the VP office as well, logically).
"Please continue to serve this nation well as a senator; in which capacity, and campaign, I would be very willing to support you financially.
'Sincerely yours,"
etc.; with a footnote describing my take on the NBC definition, which you, my dear regular Readers, are fully familiar with. And undoubtedly more full with than you are comfortable with; like a Thanksgiving dinner. But it bears repeating. Until its energy signature is 'out there' enough that we get it.
P.S And speaking of this whole subject, and in particular the Republicans, and their political party:
Why shouldn't BHO think that he could become emperor of the U.S.?? The Republicans (who should now change their name, to the Emperican Party; as they try to have a go at a bite of that cherry), let him become the president of the U.S. contrary to the Constitution. So, in his mind, he could have had good reason to believe that the Constitution, at least in its fine details, had become a dead letter. So why not plough a coach and horses through it, as it were. As it was in such days; and come fully into this day and age, of the rule, practically speaking, of men. Not of law. How old-fashioned is that???…
To say, how old-fashioned is Truth. And Honor. And Country.
You know. All those little details...Against the 'natural' corrupting influences of a realm of low consciousness.
It will be interesting, to see how many can make their way out of this box…
I say, "how many," rather than 'if any,' because some will, definitely. Remembering their true identity. Awakening, back to it.
'It':
a child of God.
Not of mere Man only.
Man, in all his finery, sometimes. And in his artificial 'new clothes,' often.
Ah. The details…
P.P.S. To my 'basic' blurb about the definition of an nbc I appended the following in this instance. After speaking of a dual citizen logically being excluded in the definition:
"Like, not so incidentally, Obama. Who is, therefore, a Usurper in & of that office. A condition that will not, and must not, stand.
"And if you - or Ted Cruz, who is likewise ineligible for that particular federal office, for not having been born on the soil (jus soli) of 2 U.S. citizen parents (jus sanguinis) - do something about it, it won't. And nor will [the ascendency of] any future potential illegal occupants of the office - until, at least, we return to the rule of law, and a constitutional amendment is passed changing the nbc requirement. Which is the way to go in the matter. The legal way, that is to say. Are you man enough to do this???"
(And on the envelope back to him/them - after writing on it 'For the Personal Attn. of Marco Rubio,' and 'adorning' it with a Return Address label with an American flag on it; which I use for special occasions - I put a Purple Heart stamp, under which I wrote, simply:
Duty.
Honor.
Country.
I hope he gets it. Both 'it,' and the letter I enclosed, addressed to him,
One never knows. Good help being hard to find these days, and all.)
P.P.P.S. I have now challenged both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz (or at the least, their camps), to see if either of them is man enough for the real job - the job called for now - of giving up their shot at the presidency, and toppling the Usurper in the process. And who knows - maybe, that latter job having been taken care of, they (or their close supporters) can champion the getting of a constitutional amendment on the nbc issue passed, in time to affect their potential candidacies for 2016.
I would support that. Reflecting, as it would, the changed demographics in the nation, and the reality of this time and place in general.
But then, since it's 'all change' coming up anyway, it might well be a moot point.
We'll see.
