On Seeing Things Whole

A friend has sent me a clip, with purportedly camera imagery, of scientist Carl Sagan talking about the imagery of “the pale blue dot” Earth as purportedly taken from Voyager 1 on Feb.14, 1990, with the Earth purportedly shown “from a distance of about 6 billion km (3.7 billion miles)”.*  My response:

"Unfortunately, that image of the Earth is no more real than those of the other planets that are depicted passing  by as the camera seemingly moves further out into space.  I know of no real photo of the Earth from space, near or far.  One major one 'taken' back in the '70s was later proven to have been a low-orbit shot of the Earth from inside the capsule as framed by the round porthole, giving the impression of being seen whole from space.  And other 'shots' of the Earth whole have been admitted, by a  film 'doctor' involved, to have been constructed, as can be seen on closer look, whereby the same cloud-formation shots can be detected as having been reproduced all over the apparent 'globe'.  Thus, we have been lied to.

"Why?  Two possible reasons.  1) We have never been to the Moon, to have been able to see the Earth whole from space.  2) The Earth is not a globe.

"For whatever reason - or any other beyond these two - a con job has been foisted on the public on this issue.  Which can account for the fact that we haven't been back to space since those heady days.  Why not?  Very possibly because we haven't solved the problem of the radiation in the Van Allen belts, which would/could fry our astronauts.  As has been admitted to, by a spokesman for the current space project to send astronauts to Mars.  The whole thing perhaps due to one main geopolitical issue: that we faked the whole Gone to the Moon thing because we were in a race to space with the Soviet Union, and wanted to beat them.  Fair or foul.

"Whatever It Takes.'  ‘By Any Means Necessary.'  The end-justifies-the-means argument of those atheistic (or satanically-inclined) souls amongst us who wish to take over this planet, and run it from the top down.  Ruthlessly.  With, and by, Force.  Rather than with, and by, Love.

"Take your pick of the world that you want to live in, Citizen.  And choose well.  A lot is riding on your choice.

* “This excerpt from Carl Sagan's book "Pale Blue Dot" (1994) was inspired by an image taken, at Sagan's suggestion, by Voyager 1 on Feb 14, 1990…
“Voyager 1 had completed its primary mission, and was leaving the Solar System when, at the request of Carl Sagan, it was commanded by NASA to turn its camera around, and take one last photo of Earth across a great expanse of space. The attached video's accompanying words spoken by Sagan, and written almost 24 years ago, are still relevant today.
“Sensitively felt, brilliantly said,” says the blurb accompanying the article.
