On The Human Comedy More Like Tragedy

Speaking of my Congressman’s playing of the ‘voter suppression’ card during his Town Hall meeting the other day:

from keepandbear.com (via Tea Party Action Network): ‘President Trump Makes Common Sense Plea On Voter ID’ - Andrew West - August 1
(Reporting on Trump, speaking at a rally in Tampa, Fla., “resurrecting the issue of photo ID at the polls”.  Well, of course.  Duh.)

..
Green Trumpet (that’s me) - August 1

Thanks for highlighting this issue, Andrew.  Here in CA you don't need to show anything of an ID nature to vote, not even a piece of mail with your name and address on it.  Anybody could be going in to vote against a name on the reg rolls.  Even a dead person.  It would be laughable if it weren't so serious.  And now - drum roll: Some cities are allowing illegal aliens officially - OFFICIALLY - to vote in at least local elections.  It is absurd beyond belief.  This mess should have been cleaned up years ago.  But better late than never.

I am really incensed over this issue.  Voting is a sacred activity.  It should never have been allowed to become such a corrupt enterprise as it has become in this country, let alone in the world.  That corruption is a perfect example of how we have lost our way, in the thicket of matter, lost sight of the larger picture; that ‘the universe has Purpose, and that purpose is Good’.  That life is not the be-all and end-all of existence, simply in and for itself only.  Is an experience of schooling, for gods in the making, as facets, fractals, aspects, points of view, expressions of The All That Is.  Climbing our way through the grades, back to Unity; and knowing the place as though for the first time, as the poet said.

Life is a school.  The purpose is to graduate.  Not get stuck in it.

As for that experience: Too many of us incarnates appear not to ‘get it’ - that the whole thing operates by Law.  That even though we have free will in this 3D realm, there is still perfect Justice in ‘the universe;’ and you don’t ever really get away with anything.  That’s what the Law of Karma is all about.  Plus the fundamental fact that As you do unto others, so do you do unto yourself - literally.  For, We Are All One.  And All IS One.

Time to clean up our act.  In many ways, and on many levels.  Elementary school is over.  You either move on.  Or you get left behind.  For, it is

the Law.
