Factors Of Life

In preparing my ‘breakfast’ today - and I put the word in quote marks because my ‘break the fast’ meal is in the mid-afternoons, as I am a night owl (spending time on this machine) - of cold cereal with various kinds of fruit cut up in it, and milk from cows not treated with r-BST, I ate a couple of apple seeds, as usual, and was reminded of ‘a story’.  The first part of the story involves my landlord, who happened to tell me one day, in the middle of a conversation regarding whatever, not to eat the seeds of apples.  I told him in response that I knew that ‘story,’ but that I knew what was behind it, and that (such as) apple seeds were actually good for you, as part of ‘nature’s answer to cancer’.  He didn’t believe it; and asked me how long I had been eating them.  I told him: Most of my adult life.  As I am rather fit for my age, he was stunned.  Which brings up the other part of the story. 

Yes, apple seeds - as with a considerable number of other items in Nature(1) - have cyanide in them.  But it is bound up in such a way that it attacks only cancerous cells in our bodies (and those of other animals), not regular cells.  It is all part of what is called The Trophoblastic Thesis of Cancer.  Without going back into the material and researching it thoroughly for this comment, and just In a nutshell (as it were):

There is a species of cells, called trophoblast cells, whose job it is to multiply and surround the developing fetus in a female body to keep it from being attacked, as ‘other,’ by the body’s immune cells/system (and also to attach the sac to the interior lining of the uterus, as the placenta).  A point comes - with the developing of the embryonic pancreas and its secreting of enzymes - when that process is completed, and the next stage of the pregnancy kicks in, with extraneous trophoblast cells becoming lodged in various parts of the developing fetus, for (intricately ingenious) use later on (see below).  These cells are the same as cancer cells.  (An embryo is a form of a tumor.  Both cancer cells and trophoblast cells produce HCG/human chorionic gonadotropin.  A pregnancy test for its presence can indicate a tumor growth as well.)  Pancreatic enzymes can attack and destroy cancer tumors.  There are substances in our environment that can cause/trigger cancer, called carcinogens.  We are normally protected from them by an ingredient in Nature, a class of substances called nitrilosides, which contain a poison called cyanide.  The reason that the nitriilosides (the cyanide therein) don’t attack regular cells is because the latter have an enzyme (rhodanese, as I recall) that transmutes the freed cyanide into another substance,(2) whereas cancerous cells don’t have that enzymatic feature, and thus are specifically attacked and killed.  The point is that all the cells are just doing their jobs.  And as long as we eat ‘healthily,’ we will be protected from cancer.  Of all kinds.  Cancer, then, being essentially a metabolic/deficiency disease; like scurvy or pellagra or rickets.(3)   

I may have some of the details not quite right.  But this is the story in its essence.

A remarkable story.  And phenomenon.     

And some people - a lot of people - think there is not a Higher Intelligence at work.  That Man is the be-all and end-all of existence.

What fools these metals be.

The Intelligence that knows how to program enzymes into the mammalian body - for good example - is far above our poor powers to add or detract.

And it’s the same writ larger, with bodies like nations.  When foreigners - foreign objects - come in through the front door - that is, are ‘accepted’ by, rendered acceptable to, the body - they are recognized by the body as ‘self’; otherwise, they are attacked by the body as ‘other’.  As intruder.

See how it works?

Those cells also digest us when our life force is extinguished - the interior light of the vehicle goes out - and we die.  No shock! horror! in it; it’s just the way it is.  The way things are.  In nature.

The Nature that we are a part of.

As designed by a Higher Intelligence.

Now; what came before our particular Higher-Intelligence Creator Source?

Ah, well.  The answer to that question is part of The Process, you see.

(1) the seeds and pits of other fruits - apricots (that’s where the Laetrile part of this story comes in; Laetrile being a condensed version of the therapeutic substance called amygdalin in apricot kernels), plums, peaches, cherries, nectarines, etc. - and berries; bitter almonds (not sweet almonds; the bitterness was the part that confained the good stuff), nuts, lima beans; maize, sorghum, millet, cassava, linseed; plus various grasses, for the cud-chewers amongst us creatures, and for the meat-eaters amongst us higher primates.  The anti-cancer substances in them are called nitrilosides.  Which indeed contain cyanide.  Read on.

(2) the whole metabolic process resulting in, among other substances, benzoic acid.  Which is a pain reliever; as a neat side-effect from the process.  (If a patient with cancer is treated with nitrilosides, it may be too late to save them, but the nitriloside treatment can at least help alleviate their pain.)
