Some on the Left really believe what they are mouthing. (The U.S. is the world’s ogre, etc. etc.) But others know precisely what they are doing. It’s classic Marxist revolutionary stuff:
Demonize your enemy. Call him every name in the book: fascist, racist, sexist, xenophobe; whatever, to try to smear him/her with invective, as the opening artillery barrage of the war you are engaged in promoting. It’s how the Communists took over in many countries after WWII. Well, here’s some more ammo for you, you ‘commie punks,’ over there on the far left:*
If anybody
Is in this country illegally
It should be, nay, needs
to be, as if they
Have no presence here.
If anybody
Hires them, they should be,
And need to be, subject to
prison
and/or fine.
The non-persons themselves
Should be, and need to be,
offered
none
Of the privileges or amenities
Accorded to the citizens
Or otherwise legal residents.
That means
No school for their children
(the subject of ‘anchor babies’
being another subject in itself
needing clarification
constitutionally);
constitutionally);
No free medical attention;
and,
of course, no welfare
provisions.
Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.
They need to go back
To their home countries.
Period.
I trust
that that is all
crystal
clear.
Including the fact that
immigrants
themselves
Are very welcome here.
Through
the front
door.
And, having set things
To rights, let us, then,
move on
into
The New.
And that’s
