I have just received in the daily mail a Survey mailing from the Southern Poverty Law Center, that caused my BS Detector to go off over and over in perusing its covering pages and the said Survey itself.
To clarify: I don’t know precisely how I got on their mailing list. I like to keep tabs on the thinking going on on both sides of the political aisle in this country (and think I got on it by signing up for mailings from the ACLU), although I am generally considered, and consider myself, to be basically a conservative: a believer in the federal constitutional republic of the United States of America as founded, on principles of such as ‘essential liberty’ - i.e., letting people get on with their lives as best they can, without any great degree of interference by the various levels of government in the nation; which exist primarily to secure those liberties as enshrined specifically in the Bill of Rights of the federal/national Constitution. Being a believer, that is also to say, in the principe of free will: that we are here in the equivalent of a classroom, for the education of, and growing of - in the sense of consciousness - apprentice gods. Being ‘chips off the old block’ of our Creator Source.(1) And so, not a believer in a heavy-handed governmental structure, that attempts to thwart the very point of the exercise, in controlling people to within an inch of their lives. Until we mature enough, in said consciousness, to graduate, out of our undergraduate years in said schooling. And enter graduate school, with its ‘grades’ - levels, dimensions, densities - of what can be called the kingdom of heaven, in which we operate under Universal Laws. As we head - back - to, and for, Unity, with said Creator Source. And which first step, of Ascension, we are facing as we speak.
And need to look out for the pitfalls on the last stage of our journey in our (equivalent of) undergraduate years. As exemplified in the likes of the political positions of the SPLC. And of its propaganda. Which I will speak to now.
Their covering letter is full of pure propaganda, in, for example, labeling Pres. Trump as a ‘racist’ simply because he is attempting - as is his responsibility, as the Chief Executive of the nation - to stop the flooding into this country of illegal aliens, whose numbers, besides a consequential number of Muslims,(2) include members of the (assassination-oriented) MS-13 gang, the likes of ISIS terrorist cell members, drug and gun runners, and - perhaps most iniquitously - child and adult sex traffickers. But because in doing so he is raining on the parade of the likes of the SPLC comrades, in their attempts to ‘fundamentally transform’ the United States in its makeup, to their advantage, and - truth be told - in the establishing of a global (and totalitarian-minded) New World Order, he needs to be got out of the way. By Any Means Necessary. By Whatever It Takes. Including, potentially, assassination, if all else fails. (As it is, at this time.)(3)
But let me get into some of the specific details in/of their covering letter, with my commentary to their propaganda interspersed. (4)
Their letter opens with a (self-serving) quote from Dr. Martin Luther Kind Jr.(5) - who “spoke his immortal words to a crowd of thousands” - and follows it: “But if Dr. King were here today, and could see the reactionary political climate that pervades our nation” [in reference to the far Left’s Totalitarian Tiptoe takeover plot, dishonestly using the cover of legitimate changes in the political scene] “and witness the ferocious backlash” [read: to the communistically disrupting likes of Antifa]“ against civil rights [Beep!] “and equality” {in this letter the SPLC seems be - deliberately - confusing the word ‘equality’ with income ‘equality’ as well, as in the robbing-Peter-to-pay-Paul likes of ‘free education’ and ‘free health care’ and so forth], “he might ask, ‘how much longer?’’” [As long as it takes to see through you folks, my dears.]
“How much longer until voting rights are respected” [I’ll get into this issue later on], “racial hatred are [sic] respected, and access to quality education and health care [are] provided?” [Until ‘access to quality education and health care’ are ‘provided’? You mean as in a socialistic-communistic model, provided by the state?? That is exactly what you mean. Judging by the general tenor of your material over the years. (Which I have kept an eye on.)]
The letter then goes into some details of various court cases they have taken on over the years - some sounding legitimate, to give them their due - and then comes part of ‘the pitch’:
“With the hope that you share our commitment to equality and justice, I’ve enclosed your registered copy of the SPLC’s 2020 Utah Take A Stand Survey. (All emphases in original.) ‘Equality’ and ‘justice’ are, obviously, key words in the vocabulary of the totalitarians. I object to their dishonest use of the terms. But to continue, as the letter moves on into specific areas of the SPLC’s stated concerns for ‘equality’ and ‘justice’:
“Immigration: We were horrified by the images on TV of children being ripped from their parents and locked in cages.” [Beep! Beep! on both the matter of being “ripped from” and “their parents”. The first obviously being mere hyperbole, and the second often being outright factually incorrect, as children are often used - terribly corruptly - as ‘shields’ to attempt to buttress the attempts by prospective immigrants to make their case for acceptance into the country. Plus, the Inconvenient Truth that those TV images used to play on our heartstrings were of children kept in confinement, while the immigration case of their, er, parents was being adjudicated, under the Obama administration. Oops!] “President Trump wants us to believe the people he’s running up are ‘animals’ and ‘criminals’ who ‘infest’ our country, not families.” [BEEP! He was obviously referring, in that quote, to the likes of the MS-13 gang members - who are slipping into this country because of the lax, ‘open borders’ policy of the Democrats. And threatening the likes of American, er, families.] “Sentiments like this lay bare the racism and xenophobia in his policies.” [And comments like this lay bare the disgusting dishonesty of the SPLC, in resorting to pure propaganda by which to attempt to make their case, however ‘fair enough’ it might be in certain instances.]
“Trump claims to have backed down on the latest crisis he’s created” [Beep! Who has “created” - the incessant attempts to crash our borders by sinister forces using people who are simply economic refugees, plus those who use children as shields, and all of them as covers in the implanting in this country of trained terrorists. It is all terribly cynical and outrageous. Get off your effing high horse, SPLC.] “but the reality is that his administration has been tearing families apart from its start in hopes of sharply curtailing non-white immigration to the U.S.” [Beep! In the hopes of bringing back the rule of law in this country. But at least the SPLC is getting closer to the truth of matters in this cmment; that being, that it is attempting to break down the ‘established order’ in this country, via the likes of an invasion of Muslims - as happened in Europe - in order to overthrow the white, Christian majority in the country. Got it, SPLC: your true, er, colors.]
“Voter Suppression: Since the 2013 Supreme Curt ruling that gutted the Voting Rights Act, more than half of all states have acted to restrict the right to vote. 2016 was the first presidential election in 50 years without the full protections of the Voting Rights Act. While courts struck down some of the new laws, 20 states had restrictive voting laws in place during the election…”
A major comment at this point, this being one of my major pet peeves about life in this country; including how the far Left has debased the language by labeling moves towards Election Integrity (as championed by the likes of Judicial Watch and the American Civil Rights Union) as ‘Voter Suppression’ . Regular readers of this blog know that I have refused to vote - i.e., to support the fiction - ever since I discovered, upon returning to live in retirement in my home country, and indeed in my old hometown, after years of having lived abroad, how fraudulent the electoral process was in my home state of California. Anther, albeit related, story, to all the dishonesty going n in this mailing from the SPLC. To continue with (regrettably):
“Hate and Extremism: President Trump’s fear mongering, xenophobic, racist campaign reinvigorated and emboldened a broad group of extremists, including neo-Nazis and other white supremacists who identify with the alt-right.” [Gee, all that, just for calling for a halt to the incursion into this country of illegal aliens and others and for a securing of the nation’s borders?? Well, of course - off with his head, eh, Kathy??? Obviously, “hate’ going on there…]
“Unfortunately, we cannot say we’re surprised. For well more than a decade we’ve documented the increased polarization of our country and the racist backlash to demographic and social changes…” And the “backlash” to such as the SPLC’s hand in demonizing the likes - not just of far rightwing extremists, but of “conservatives, Constitutionalists, Ron Paul supporters, Christians’ - i.e., the opposition to a socialist/communist takeover of the country, and immersion of it into their totalitarian New World Order; their merely conservative enemies being listed, by the SPLC’s comrades in the Deep State, on lists of ‘potential domestic terrorists’ - i.e., simply of resistors to their overthrow of ‘the established order’. Like the Bolsheviks that they are; and are continually exposing themselves as being. With such mailings as this one. To all who have eyes to see, behind and beneath the surface, scammy stuff of indoctrination.
May we soon get to the real Truth of things. Before we are done in, by the sinister forces who are attempting to establish a -

false New Order of Things.
A Novus Ordo Seclorum. A secular New Order. Rather than
The Real Thing.

(3) And so, presumably - in employing such a broad brush - would apparently include (members of) the John Birch Society in their ‘alt-right’ designation; from doing such a good job, through such sources of info as its bi-weekly magazine The New American (which I subscribe to), in educating the public both to the general, and long-standing, nature of the socio-econo-political machinations going on in the world, and specifics of the wiles of the ‘alt-left’ in furthering its end. Which is to end the world as we know it, and put it under the draconian control of them, our Erstwhile Masters.
And thus, attempting to make a Dark-side parody of The Real Thing.

(4) Although I have major comments on some of the questions in the Survey itself, I will let that item of this mailing go, at least at this time, in the interests of brevity. And seeing as how our ‘attention span’ has been diminished, by the likes of smart phones.
And a dumbing-down education system.

Indeed, Dr. King. Indeed.
