On Dumbing Down, & Other Events

I knew we were in trouble as a nation when, in returning to this country from having lived nearly 40 years abroad, I saw that people couldn’t spell worth a darn.  I saw that in the Comments threads to articles in my emails.  Which technology is part of the reason for the problem.

It was, in a word, appalling.  I began to make note of the misspellings and faulty grammar at the back of my journals, but gave up after awhile, it was so depressing.  And it all came up for me late yesterday, like a regurgitation - that’s a vomit, for you vocabularly challenged - when I was reading a very moving article amongst my emails by a woman getting on in her years who was sharing deeply about something that was causing her anguish in life, and the spirit of her diatribe was interrupted, for me, over and over again by her terrible spelling and grammar.

Lest you get all offensive and think of me in the likes of a ‘spelling Nazi,’ let me make my position very clear:  We are not talking about ‘a little thing,’ except in a particular way.  My point: If you can’t spell well, that is a sign that your brain hasn’t been trained to catch the details of things, and so you will be a pushover in life by con artists.  Like the ones who gave you your education.  On a propaganda platter.

What am I talking about.  I am talking about people who want to keep others from enjoying reading, and thereby gaining access to information outwith their erstwhile masters’ control.  As with the socialists behind the ‘whole word’ method of teaching reading, whereby the pupils are given a vocabulary of selected words to memorize, by their shape, rather than by learning to sound out the letters and combining the sounds and understanding the words from that basis, on one’s own.  Via the system of teaching reading known as phonics. 

The People Controllers say that their method is all about reading comprehension, rather than children learning to read words on their own but without knowing the meanings.  The meanings that their erstwhile masters want to keep them from knowing, being exposed to.  

It’s a form of airbrushing out of historical pictures of individuals who have fallen out of favor of the Masters of the former Soviet Union.  And is championed by the Communist Chinese in our times. 

It is an American tragedy.  Perhaps it is universal, with the rise of the Internet, and the consequent decrease in reading (and attention span).  Reading being a habit which reinforces in our mind’s eye the correct spelling of words and use of grammar.  But I don’t think so.  I have subsequently come across information - because I read a lot -  that this is all part of a deliberate, systematic plan, involving the dumbing-down of us Americans; part of a process to turn us into merely a Third World country.  Why?  ‘Environmentalists’ will say that it is because Americans consume too much of the world’s resources, and should be cut back to just our ‘fair share’.  But the real reason - as with carbon credits, and the phony Anthropogenic Global Warming-oops-well-call-it-Climate Change-then - is so that the U.S. can be merged comfortably into a one-world government.  

No more ‘exceptional’ country.  Or making us Great Again.

Which is why the Left - and the fascist, corporate New World Order crowd behind them - are so against Trump.  For raining on their parade, into their desired one-world status, where everybody will be equal; and some will be more equal than others.  

Our erstwhile Masters.  Feeling, by bloodline, that they are superior to others.  With a craving for Power Over Others.

Or POO for short.

But to continue, with my original thread of thought.

Perhaps the most bugging feature to me in all this tragedy about our miseducation regarding the proper use of English is the widespread mistake about the difference between its and it’s.  For the record:

It’s is ALWAYS a contraction, standing for either ‘it is’ or ‘it has’.  It is NEVER the possessive form.  Its is ALWAYS the possessive form.  Thus:

‘It’s raining again.  But the cat still wants to go out on its daily routine.’  And so forth.  

Got it?

All, of it???

And perhaps to understand as well, that 

this is all part of

The Plan.

With the New World Order crowd’s one-world government 

the reverse image of

The Real Thing.

And thus invoking it out of latency.

And thus, why we need to give these characters on the Dark side

some slack.  Because some of them are just playing parts, in The Drama.

And the rest?

Ah.  Well.

They will get theirs.  Because

this is a universe - and Plan - characterized by various laws.  One of which is

Justice.

Which you would have known about.

If you had been paying just a little more attention

to the detail of things.
