Re: The birther issue

(A friend has sent me a comment on ‘the birther issue,’ as regards the candidacy of Kamala Harris.)

(My response:)

1) I would be interested to know where that quote is from.

2) Not so.  a) the 14th Amendment: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States..."  Children of illegal aliens are "subject to the jurisdiction" of the countries of their parents - that is, are NOT "citizens of the United States" LET ALONE 'natural born' citizens.  The definition of a 'natural born' citizen is a person "born in the country, of parents who are citizens" thereof.  The whole point of the requirement being to make sure that the occupant of the office of the president has NO DUAL OR OTHERWISE CONFLICTING LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES OR INFLUENCES.  Has SOLE ALLEGIANCE to the U.S. (in this case).

   b) The only thing that can change this eligibility requirement for that office is a constitutional amendment.  As recognized by both major political parties of our day when they tried a total of 8 times between them, between 2003 and '08 alone, to get a constitutional amendment going through Congress on this issue - proposals all of which had this particular issue as their common denominator - and they failed each time even to get their proposals out of committee, such was the sensitivity around this matter, of the eligibility requirements for that office.  So, what did they do?  They colluded, in a crime, to try to fudge the issue, and figured that between them, they had control of the judiciary and the MSM, to hide the truth from The People.  But the Truth will out.  In this, as in other matters.

Don't be fooled by Dark-side players in The Play going on, to 'catch our consciences,' to paraphrase Shakespeare.  There is going to be a separation of the wheat from the tares.  Be on the right side of that winnowing.
