P.S. I don't know, even after researching the matter rather thoroughly, that there is any evidence that Jesus - the Jesus of the New Testament, at least** - was an actual person. There is evidence that he was an astrotheological figure, like many 'Saviors' before him. And so, some things may well have to change in our culture, to accommodate facts, rather than mere beliefs. But the main fact of the current matter is that we in America are, by and large, a 'religious' people; and do not take kindly to naysayers trying to rule over us. To hijack, not only our values. But our very country. To such people, I say
Molon labe.
And that can mean our weapons. Or our values. Or our country itself.
To such people, I say, further:
Don't mess with me.
I bite.
And that's not 'just me'.
