Stan, I grow tired of the arrogance of you and those like you, passing yourselves of as experts on subjects where you clearly lack the expertise.  Those of us who question Obama's eligibility do not question his citizenship for the same reasons you are questioning Ted Cruz's eligibility to be President.  Many of us believe the phony birth CERTIFICATEarrow-10x10.png he posted online, and question why he is hiding his college transcripts, which would likely show him to be a foreign exchange student.
That being said, for you to come on here and tell Victoria she hasn't done her homework is completely uncalled for.

If I ever say anything falsely, I hope that I will be big enough to own up to it.  That being said, the fact is, more citizens - and ESPECIALLY those who consider themselves patriots/conservatives/constitutionalists - DO need to do their homework on this issue.
1) During the Constitutional Convention, when the matter of the eligibility requirements for the office of the presidency was starting to be considered, John Jay - a respected statesman who ended up becoming the first Chief Justice of the new U.S, Supreme Court - sent a letter to G. Washington, in his role as Chair of the proceedings, warning about this very thing, that the person in the office should have no foreign allegiances or entanglements - "to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born citizen".  2) To drive the point home: Alexander Hamilton, a delegate to the proceedings, tendered a proposal that the presidential office require the person only to be a "citizen" - and his proposal was specifically TURNED DOWN.  3) The delegates knew what they were doing, what the definition of a 'natural born' citizen was - they were familiar with E. de Vattel's 'The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law' on such subjects.  And if they didn't know what they were voting for, their elder statesman mentor, Benjamin Franklin - who they held in high esteem - certainly knew, having been sent 3 copies of it, and he was sitting right there, as one of the delegates; plus, there was a copy in the very building in which the proceedings were taking place.  (Some Obama supporters have tried to argue that the delegates were going by English common law; which, unfortunately for their argument, talks about natural born SUBJECTS.  These men at these proceedings certainly did not consider themselves 'subjects,' having just been involved in a War of Independence from such a condition of servitude to a monarch.  They were now Freemen - and damn proud of it.  No; they were clearly going by American common law, based on de Vattel's definitive codifying of it.)
The nation is hovering on the edge of a rent in the fabric of the rule of law - of its Constitution.  That rent must be mended.  Or it will be widened, by statists; until a (you should excuse the ironic expression) coach and horses could be driven through it.  As is happening as we speak.
Not that Obama began the process.  But he is clearly finishing it.  And finishing off the federal constitutional Republic of the United States of America IN the process.

(NOTE: Good sources of info on this subject: puzo1dotblogspotdotcom; the 2 YouTube videos by Prof. Herb Titus; the blog of CDR C.F. Kerchner (Ret.).  The list goes on.)
