On Experiencing Our Potential

'This may not be the best time to address this issue, what with the Superbowl having just captured so much attention and all.  But I feel that there should not be such sporting events.  At least not the ones that have winners and losers.  Can't - or at least shouldn't - have 'losers'.  It's harmful on and to children's sensitive psyches.  And we should just start with such noncompetitive games for children.  Give all the participants the same color of ribbon, for participating in the activity.  No ups or downs in their precious little lives.  Just a smooth Middle Way.  (There being no Right Way nor Wrong Way but thinking makes it so.)  Protect them, from such extreme effects on their sensitive little emotional bodies.  And after awhile, of the state - I mean of course the society - permitting its adults to have such extreme experiences - whereby, for every 'winner' there has to be a 'loser;' an impermissible state - meaning of course 'society' - in which we are all 'the winners' - until the children under our care can teach their pa - teach the adults better values, we can wean the adults off of such emotional extremes as well.  And everybody can live, together, happily ever after, in our One Big Family - the Family of Man!  Now isn't that better than the way things are now?'

At least I think that's how the argument goes; giving credit where credit is due…

What am I saying, really.  I am saying - really - that we need to move out of the monetary & financial system that we are in/laboring under now, because a) it hurts too many people, and b) it generates the energy/idea of 'the Other' - of competition with others as Others.  Which generates the likes of wars.  But that doesn't mean that I am, or that we should be, against competition per se.  Amongst ourselves, as individual expressions of The One.

Just wanted to make that clear.  As we move ultimately to get rid of money altogether.  As a token of value, yes, of Service contributed to The Whole, in the form of the exchange of goods and services.  With us incarnate souls being capable, ultimately, of manifesting directly all that we need, out of the very energy of the Creation, and turning it into various forms of matter (energy and matter being interchangeable through functions of Light).  Having aligned ourselves with our Higher Selves; and in further alignment with Spirit.  With our Source.  From whence we came for just such experiences as we have while and via engaging in sports.

Noncompetitive.  And otherwise.*

Noting the different feelings that come up for us while engaging in games; our attitudes, and highs and lows, and so forth.  And carrying right on, on our Path.

Which is the Path bathed in Light.  Not the one of its shadowy mirror image, which leads into the dark realm of the powers of Force.

Would i say that capitalism was okay for its time and place?  It had its merits; but I would never have recommended that humanity go the interest-bearing money way.

But then, the way of creating community - of true Community; of the sons and daughters of The Most High - would have short-circuited the whole experience.  Of being in a classroom, of (seeming) Separation and Duality, and learning lessons therein and thereby.

The better to reach our potential.  As very gods ourselves.

Being Part of The One, and all.

* I have made some unconscious shots and moves on the (competitive) basketball court that I know darn well gave my soul's Creator delight, in experiencing Itself.
And had a proverbial hand in.
