In The Scheme Of Things

An orgasm a day
Keeps the doctor away
                    as well
              as an apple,
                I hear tell;
              especially
           these days
Of apples being gassed
Into their ripeness
Instead of naturally.
             And who knows
              what other evils
           lurk
In the hearts of men
When there is money
     to be had
     in the equation.

But if this is all there is.
What difference it would make
In this small scheme of things,
         I don't know,
              really.
