On Belief, And Fact

My Belief System

My belief system

        is based on

   an experience

That I had, many

Years ago, while

At university, of

A truism;

   that truism being

   the feeling - 

                  call it 

The insight - that

‘The universe has Purpose

And that purpose is Good.’

And it is up to us

To suss that out - 

             to follow that 

           trail of crumbs

                            out

To its conclusion.

And that feeling - 

                 call it

                 a sense;

           for it makes

           good sense,

       oonsidering

       everything,

         and especially

The schoolroom context

Of this experience

Of life 

  (and which for me

   this time around

   has included the

   experience of having

   a wife; though not

   of having children

   of my own.  Except for

   everyone) - 

         has stayed with me

All this time.  Through thick

And thin.  

So let us begin

       the last

       chapter

Of this saga

We are in,

       and creating

       as we go.

And as for that schoolroom aspect

of life, there’s this:

          Tragedy

I see that both Cruz and Rubio

Are starting to position themselves 

For another run

For the presidency

                    (given

The nature of things

               in our day

               and age;

      what is actually

      a - the - New Age).

To which I say:

‘But neither of you

Is eligible, for not being

                   a true

Natural born citizen.’

To which they each reply:

‘If Obama was eligible

                  then so am I.’

To which I say, in turn:

                 ‘Precisely.’

To which reply they say:

                 ’Say what?’

And then I say:

‘The American people

Are about to experience

The consequences 

Of their actions

In allowing the nation

Not to run under

The rule of law

For the eight years

Of the Obama 

Maladministration’

  (think releasing 

  MS-13 assassins

  into the country,

  along with other

       terrorists,

  under the cover

  of being refugees):

‘Chaos.  Tragedy.

But it’s not to worry,

                   being

Such a little thing?

But it is, in the

Real world.’

And so now, let the flag

                  of Duty

Be unfurled.

As we prove our worth

       in the vast

       scheme

       of things

which has purpose.
