On Grooming - Part 2

Further on yesterday's posting, especially in regards to the 'grooming' going on of our youth in their schools via the Common Core scam; this:

from NewsWithViews.com: ’Common Core - Part 9’ - by Dennis  L. Cuddy, Ph.D. - July 27:

“…(M)ost people do not realize that CC is part of a much larger international effort. As part of a New Transatlantic Agreement, on May 5-6, 1997 the U.S. and the European Union convened a major conference, "Bridging the Atlantic: People-to-People Links" calling for "thematic networks for curriculum development" and stating that "governments too are obliged to adapt their economic, training and social welfare programs." The "Partners in a Global Economy Working Group" of the conference discussed "what redesigning of curricula is required...(i.e., what career skills are needed)...."

“At this time, on the National Skill Standards Board website was mention of a report by the Tavistock Institute for the European Commission. The report was completed in October 1997 and described the relevancy of Goals 2000, SCANS typology with its "profound implications for the curriculum and training changes that this will require" and what skills standards and portable credentials "benchmarked to international standards...."

“As the movement toward global education increased, George W. Bush was elected president, taking office in 2001, and his Secretary of Education Rod Paige on October 3, 2003 in Paris stated: "The United States is pleased to return to UNESCO....Our governments have entrusted us with the responsibility of preparing our children to become citizens of the world." President Obama would later refer to himself as a citizen of the world, but the problem with this concept, as opposed to resident or inhabitant of the world, is that "citizenship" entails legal obligations.  And world citizenship obligations would trump those of national citizenship. [my emphasis]

“On November 17, 2004 at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris, UNESCO signed a 26-page "Cooperation Agreement" with Microsoft (Bill Gates founder and CEO) to develop a "master curriculum" for teacher training and information technologies based on standards, guidelines, benchmarks and assessment techniques. Gates initialed every page and agreed that this curriculum was to reflect UNESCO's values. These values were explained in first UNESCO Director-General Sir Julian Huxley's UNESCO: ITS PURPOSE AND ITS PHILOSOPHY as including "a scientific world humanism, global in extent and evolutionary in background" with "transfer of full sovereignty from separate nations to a world organization...political unification in some sort of world government would be required...." [my emphasis]

“The next year (2005), Bill Gates funded the New Commission on the Skills of the American Workforce (created by NCEE president Marc Tucker). And in 2008, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded the International Benchmarking Advisory Group report for CC standards on behalf of the National Governors Association (NGA), Council of Chief State School Officers, and Achieve titled "Benchmarking for Success: Ensuring U.S. Students Receive a World-Class Education" showing the U.N. is a member of the Common Core Advisory Group (also see "How Bill Gates pulled off the Common Core revolution" in THE WASHINGTON POST, June 8, 2014)…”

A disclaimer of sorts:

Back in 1981-82 I spent a year off from the spiritual community that I had been living in for some years working for an NGO (a Non-Governmental Organization) called Planetary Citizens, in their office right across the street from the UN Building in downtown Manhattan, on a project they were acting as the Secretariat for called 'The Planetary Initiative (For the World We Choose)'.  It was an educational project working with the concept current then of 'Thinking Globally - Acting Locally' - helping people to look at what they could do in their own communities to reflect global values, in recycling projects, getting rid of ozone-layer-destroying spray cans, etc. etc. etc.  It was all very honorable, with the outfit itself - under the directorship of a man we at our community called 'God's secret agent at the UN' - having the motto of 'One Planet - One Humanity - One Destiny'.

There are movements for One World.  And then there are movements for One World.

Hey - ours even had a gal who was a VP in David Rockefeller's empire sitting on our Board of Directors.  But I can attest to the fact that that 'circle' never exerted much power in our project.  (Not even financially.)  I think David was still trying to buy himself a revolution, just as he had with the student sit-ins at Columbia U in the late '60s, as attested to in James Simon Kunen's 'The Strawberry Statement,' and wanted to keep a hand in on such initiatives as our PI ('Earth at Omega') project.*

So, to sum up: The purpose of the organization was to help people cultivate a relationship - along the lines of  'proper stewardship' - with the world as a whole, along with their national citizenship.  NOT in its place.  Just saying.

That comes with the 'kingdom of Heaven' territory itself.

* It culminated in the summer of 1983 in a Planetary Congress held in Toronto, and addressed by such spiritual 'revolutionaries' as Ram Dass.  I had long since returned to my community; my work in helping to get the project off the ground finished.  Good such projects were hard to find, in those pre more-crucial days.

a propos:

from TeaPartyC.C.: ‘Education Bill: Parents Cannot Opt Kids Out of Federally Mandated Tests’ - posted by Marilyn Calkins  July 26/7
(with excellent references in the article to Frederic Bastiat’s The Law; and this summation:
"The focus now must be on the rejection by states and school districts of any and every act of government on any level to dictate to parents the boundaries of the natural right of sovereignty they possess over their children.
“Whether it’s how they get to school or what they learn when they get there, parents have the God-given right to rule over their children and now they must fight fearlessly to retain those rights.”
There was a reference in the article to a “bizarre scenario” where some parents got into trouble for letting their kids walk home from school.  It really is getting that bad… )

Thanks for highlighting this subject.  Common Core is a scam, in dedicated alignment with UN (specifically, UNESCO) plans to create 'world citizens', with world citizenship 'obligations' trumping national citizenship.  Thus, the end of the federal constitutional Republic of the U.S.A.

Things are heating up; with the need for the states to slam the brakes on this federal runaway train growing larger by the day.  And we're not just talking about 'the Left'.  The statist Right is part of the plot as well.  As researchers and honest academics like Antony C. Sutton have identified so well.  It's all part of the push by TPTB at the top of the pyramid of power to establish their New World Order.  That's totalitarianism at its zenith, Friend.  Needing to be toppled, and like, Now.
