The Play's The Thing

I have just finished reading 

A paper, entitled 

'One Hundred and One 

Obama Scandals, Misdeeds, and Crimes'.  

And last night, before going to bed

                                          I read

A channeled message, purportedly

From a high spiritual being. 

                                  To whom I say:

                'Obama claims the right

To kill people, including Americans,

On sight.  And yet

You claim to call this guy

A high being of Light.

It doesn't compute.

Someone is wrong.

I figure it's you.

            You belong

In prison, along

With your Marxist hero,

                      accused

Of an abomination

In my sight.'

Get with it, America.

You have a work to do 

To set things right

Before a halt is called

To this scenario

That you have been involved in

To catch your conscience

Or not.  

Your choice.

As ever.


So now
Let me cross this country*
By arduous nation-knitting rail -
                     from sea
To shining sea - and sing
Her praises evermore - as I
Take over now
That The Play
Is ended
                   and we
Are ready - as ready
As we will ever be -
For the Real Thing.

Hold onto your hats, ladies
And gentlemen.  It's going to be
An amazing ride
                     Into
The Unknown
With pride
For having made it
Thus far
                as I
       lead You
To the Far Country
Just beckoning Us -
Just waiting for Us
To arrive
And thrive
Like We never have before
On this turn of the Spiral
Of Life
             and Life
More abundant
Than without God
As a major participant
In the endeavor.

            So, here
We go!

I'll drink to that.
             And one more
For the Road.

Of America as it now is?
Have you no sense
Of your legacy left??
Does Duty - Honor - Country
Mean nothing to you anymore???
