After posting my blog of yesterday, and getting to my snail mail for the day/evening, I came across a couple of items of particular interest. The first was from something called the National Museum Of The Pacific War. It contained a little booklet entitled 'Reflections on Pearl Harbor,' by a newspaper editor in Hawaii who as a young reporter was there, and in later years interviewed Admiral Chester Nimitz, who was appointed by FDR to be the Commander in Chief of U.S. and Allied air, land and sea forces in the Pacific Theater during World War II. You've heard of World War II, kids?? You never know, these days, with the Left in charge of so many things, and wanting to shoot down anything good to be said about America...
That having been said: to the booklet, and its story. It was an interesting read, about a gentle, self-effacing man who 'rose to the occasion,' as it were, and became quite a hero. Admirably, one might say. And in the whole telling, starting with Pearl Harbor, words like courage, honor, integrity come to mind. And in the words of Marine General Mike Hagee (Ret.), who wrote the covering letter to the mailing and who is the President and CEO of the Admiral Nimitz Foundation, which runs that National Museum (located in Admiral Nimitz's ancestral home town, of Fredericksburg, Texas):
"It's up to you and me to provide the education that our schools and colleges are failing to offer our young people.
"Because unless you and I act, the next generation of Americans will grow up believing that their freedoms simply fell from the sky."
And are simply to be discounted anyway, in the New Order of Things, whereby such things as our rights simply come from the government, which can give them, or take them away, at either its whim or the whim of the mob; which it is a stellar performer at whipping up, with all sorts of high-tech mind control techniques these days.
But to continue.
No; I'll elaborate a bit more at this point, to make it perfectly clear where I'm coming from.
A generation of Americans has grown up believing that the Vietnam War was a dirty war. And they are right. It was a No-Win war, designed that way, in order primarily (not completely; read on) to make money for the people who make money - and we're talking big money here - on wars. As Gen. Smedley Butler commented on, many years before your time. Having said that:
the Left wants to disappear some particular things about America (including about its Founding Fathers) down the memory hole, to erase all that is good about America, in order to eradicate any sense of loyalty to it, thus to meld it into being simply part of a trading region of their New World Order. Apparently - for some of them; the more innocent, starry-eyed ones - not realizing fully who is behind the whole scenario.
In sum: You people on the Left would throw the baby out with the bathwater - you would have America sink under tyranny, like - precisely like - one of our ships at Pear Harbor. That war, even though it was part of a larger Plan for Man, in the human scheming for a New World Order run by the financial and political Elite of the world, was at least, on its face and in its gut, about freedom versus tyranny. And so is this one, now, in our time.
I urge you: Stand down, you effing sons of bitches, who would dishonor the sorts of men and women who gave their lives and service to America in that war, and every war where human liberty from statist oppression is and was at stake, on the line.
And I'll say no more to that point at this time. To continue.
The other mailing of note here - which actually arrived a couple of days ago, but for whatever reason I didn't get around to opening until this morning - is, and was, a real shocking stunner. It was a letter about the failure of the Obama administration to give help to a total of over 300 current and former Navy sailor personnel who were serving on the USS Ronald Reagan and other ships ordered to assist in the humanitarian effort in Japan from that earthquake and tsunami there in March of 2011, which also damaged the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, and who have since come down with all manner of symptoms of radiation poisoning.
The Obama administration is trying to sweep it all under the carpet.
These sailors - serving military personnel of America - are dying, and otherwise being incapacitated, and not being helped, because - why? Who knows all of the answers to that question.* All I know is, they all deserve the help of their government, which called them into harm's way in the first place. And for whom I have a message:
You putrid assholes
In charge of this country
These days:
Get the hell
OUT
Of there.
You don't deserve
To be there.
You are
The enemy.

multiculturalism is just another progressive buzzword for the left to destroy the central values and history of the united states. back in the day..immigration was really people coming to this country to become americans.....now it is to collect free benefits, while at the same time building powerful inner city..anti American communities within the united states...changing the history, customs and lifestyles that made this country what it is today. open borders and the free flow of people without responsibility and adherence to become a part of this country will weaken and eventually destroy the central heart and core of this nation. the immigrants of 100 years ago.....and those of today are not the same....period.

Well put, Al.
As the Left continues its putsch to turn America into merely a part of a trading region - the North American Union - of their New World Order. Apparently some of the more starry-eyed of the leftists not understanding that their version of a New World Order is just that - a mere version; designed to give way to the REAL powers behind the thrones on both the Left AND the Right: the geopolitical and financial Elite behind the whole shooting match.
Which it is going to turn into, if we don't watch out, and as 'they' hope for; in order to allow their puppet Obama to declare Martial Law, and trash the Constitution - the main thing standing in the way of these megalomaniacs - in one fell swoop, rather than simply by way of a thousand cuts, as he is engaging in at present.
I don't mean that we should just roll over, and let them have the field of battle. I mean that we need to be very careful as to how we approach the coming showdown, and how we prosecute the battle.
As for me: Give me Liberty or give me death. Living under the jackboot of the New World Order (whether of the Left Or the Right) would be a living death anyway. Might as WELL go out with honor intact.
