On War And Peace  

         At Last  

              I

There is nothing wrong

With the desire

To eliminate

War. 

          But

To put Man under

                    lock

               and key

               in order

To do so

Is the wrong way

To go.

There is a better 

Way than that:

               the way

Of Love.

          Which fits

The intention

Of the Creator

             also:

 the velvet glove

                     not

     the iron fist.

Throw away

Your weapons

Of destruction

          and sing

The New

Into being

Totally.

Leonidas

And his most

Trusted men

Missed out

On their victory

In their day;

I'm trusting that

                they

       will have

       their day

       in

This one.

        The one

Of peace

On Earth

At last.

               For

It is to be in

Our hearts,

              not 

  our heads -

         to say

             not

               in

A clash

Of wills.

Which makes all

The difference.
