More Christians AND Jews need to read the remarkable tour de force of scholarship and research by Joseph Atwill called 'Caesar's Messiah: The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus'. They will find that, on the one hand, the Jewish general-cum-governor-cum historian Josephus Flavius made the case, from passages in the Jewish Bible, for Titus (of the Flavian imperial dynasty, of father Vespasian and sons Titus and Domitian) having been the Jewish Messiah, chastising them for their stiffneckedness in his siege and sacking of Jerusalem and destruction of the Temple there; and on the other hand, how Josephus Flavius, and undoubtedly others in that imperial court (which Josephus was adopted into; hence his name), concocted the 'New Testament' story to point to Titus's actions as fulfilling prophecy. Jesus being a character made up out of whole cloth (of many 'god men' of the time), whose supposed public ministry precisely mirrored Titus's 'later' military campaign in Judea, detail by correspondingly timeline detail. Earlier in "this wicked generation" of Jews.
The evidence, then, points to the fact that both the Jews and the Christians have been laboring under a misapprehension for some 2000 years. It really is time, then, to 'bury the hatchet' in that longstanding feud. And get on with our lives. As the children of a God, yes. Just not the one that both of those 'camps' believe in.

N.B I had a quick response to my post last night (haven't checked yet today if anything further has come in), with someone basically calling it rubbish. I have bitten my tongue - people are entitled to their opinions - and let go making a response, something like:.
"You have read the book, and are basing your conclusion on...???"
It's the same with various knee-jerk responses to postings I make regarding the LGBTQ+ business, when I point out the likes of the book 'BrainSex' as information regarding the fact that our babies' brains are being miswired, and have been for years and years now, due to imbalances in the maternal hormonal bath that the fetus is developing in, in turn due to various environmental factors, that we can do, and should be doing, something the hell ABOUT. That we are being remiss in our duties, as homo sapiens sapiens - presumably.
But don't let me get started...
