Don't you know? There is BIG money involved. Plus People Control. The Trilateral Commission hit on the idea of using the bogeyman of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) to create a market in carbon credits, by which not only to cut back on people's use of electricity - thus making more of the world like a Third World country, and thus more controllable by an iron-fisted state - but to paint a bullseye on everybody's chests, in a 'wrinkle' on the old practice of feudal landlords taking out what came to be called 'dead peasant life insurance,’ whereby a landowner would take out insurance on people on his property, and then kill them, in order to 'move' them off his land, and get paid for it to boot.
A variation of this same idea was practiced on 9/11, when some company in the know took out life insurance on their employees, and made a bundle on the deal. But that's another, though related, story. Related, to the people who are attempting to control the world these dark days.

If I were Trump, I would be glad that my Marine general was screening out the likes of John Bolton too. He's a warmonger, part of the NeoCon crowd who want the U.S. to go to war in the Middle East for their pernicious reasons. Now, if he were to screen out the likes of Roger Stone and Steve Bannon, we would have something to worry about.

It’s a tough call. On the one hand they are the fruit of an illegal act, and are tainted as such. On the other hand, it was the fault of our politicians that they were allowed to stay here in the first place. If Congress had done its job and closed the border back when Pres. Reagan allowed an amnesty, as it was supposed to do as part of the deal, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Blame both parties, not just the Democrats (who want such people for their votes, for giving them goodies; as opposed to those Republicans who want them for their cheap labor). So, ‘we’ have to bear some of the guilt in this terrible matter. So the answer to the dilemma needs to acknowledge the full picture.
For me: My sympathies lie more with those immigrant families who waited their turn patiently to come here through the front door; and thus signaled that they were good potential law-abiding citizens. Not [with] those who jumped the queue.

Plus, the question about those illegal-alien families who were lured here under the false pretense of their children born here gaining U.S. citizenship at birth. NOT TRUE. A clearly false reading of the 14th Amendment. But who’s to blame for that terribly fraught situation?? They were just doing what they were lured into doing, based on a false belief.
A lot of blame to go around, in such matters.

P.S. So. The answer to the specific circumstance, and dilemma?
I've got an idea.
Ask them:
'Taking everything into consideration:
What do you think would be fair?'
And let them live with their answer.
