Somebody has opened a 'Draft Ted Cruz for President 2016' office. He/they have written to me again to contribute financially to his/their cause. I have replied to him/them again, only in a less genteel way this time; my dander getting further up on this matter, the more that it is ignored by the Republicans, starting to think about the 2016 presidential election, and raising money for 'the cause':

"I'll say it one more time, and then I'm through with you:
"Cruz is not eligible for that office because the whole point of the exercise on the part of the constitutional Framers in requiring a candidate for that office to be a "natural born" citizen was to make sure that the person elected to that office - who would as well become the Commander in Chief of the nation's military forces - did not have DUAL LOYALTIES OR ALLEGIANCES. Like a naturalized citizen. And like a DUAL CITIZEN.
"LikeTed. And like Obama. Who needs to be called on his illegality, if we are to continue under the rule of law in this country. And which would be a huge service to this nation if Cruz did that honor. A bigger service than he ever could provide even if he were president.
"Do your homework in this matter. It is not enough simply to be a "citizen". It requires one to have been born of 2 U.S. citizen parents. See John Jay's letter to G. Washington in this regard. See A. Hamilton's proposal in this regard [i.e., that the person need only be a "citizen"], which was turned down. See the research of Mario Apuzzo in this regard (puzo1.blogspot.com). See the 2 videos by Prof. Herb Titus in this regard. The list goes on. Cut the crap." (signed)
Damnation. This is NOT rocket science. It is pure common sense. What is the MATTER with people these days??
I put this particular problem, and responsibility, squarely in the lap of the Republican Party officialdom, who, as the official opposition party, are the ones who should have alerted the country to the ineligibility of Obama on this score.1 But as I have said many times before, in many Comments threads, on the Internet and probably also in my blogs here, they obviously, for their own purposes, chose to do a quid pro quo deal with their Democrat Party counterparts on the matter: 'We won't say anything about your candidate if you won't say anything about any of ours in the future. And we'll help stonewall any objectors who may put their heads above the parapet on the issue. Between your judges and ours, we should be able to stifle any objection to this, er, little-detail matter.'
Little detail matter. The very eligibility of a person to run for the highest office in the land…
I am so mad I could spit. Nails. Nailing these s.o.b's to the wall, for their trashing of the Constitution in this matter, and therefore, the rule of law in the country. Leaving it wide open for takeover, by a tyrant. A dictator. An emperor.
It's Rome all over again. And I feel like Cicero, trying to draw attention to the traitors within the gates……2
If I were less of a spiritual person, I would have these s.o.b's flogged, and put away for a good long while.

I feel like appending here a bit of 'doggerel' that I have just written/been inspired to write,3 because of just such reasons as this one, of people running things in this day and age who are of damn low consciousness; which is an insult to their Creator, and to their own potential. And people blindly buying into the lead of their leaders. Which is adding insult to injury……Oh hell - why not. In for a penny…:
