What Say You, America

How does it feel to have had your intelligence insulted?  And so definitively, and crucially, as in accepting an ineligible candidate as your president?  And even re-electing - your erstwhile masters rubbing your noses in it - said ineligible person to the very, terribly important, and powerful, presidency of your country??

Of MY country???…

Quote: “No person except a natural born citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President…” etc.

What does that mean?  It’s very clear what that means in essence.  It means, for one thing, that their generation of American citizens was being grandfathered in to eligibility for the office, because they hadn’t had time to be ‘natural born’ - that is to say, born in the country, of parents who were citizens thereof; to paraphrase closely the definition of the term ’natural born’  that was known to all of those statesmen, and as taught in the universities of the day.

The legally accepted definition of that term is from the definitive tome of the day on such matters, Emmerich de Vattel’s ‘The Law of Nations, Or Principles of Natural Law’.  Which there is considerable historical evidence that those learned gentlemen were fully familiar with, as I said immediately above  It was the basis for what is known as American Common Law, or Natural Law.  As opposed to English Common Law.  The latter of which speaks of ‘natural born SUBJECTS’.  Which those men certainly were no longer; having been involved in a long and bloody War of Independence to become freemen, sovereigns in their own right.  They certainly did not consider themselves any longer as ‘subjects’ of the British king.

But they themselves were not yet ‘natural born’ citizens of the new republic; were merely citizens thereof.  And so they allowed, in their constitutional contract, for that ‘little matter’.

That seemingly ‘little matter’, to the citizens of this day and age…

More’s the pity.  As we reap the consequences of our actions, under the thumb of a Usurper.  Because this generation of American citizens fell asleep at the switch, of their country, from a federal constitutional republic, to a tyranny.

Shame.  Shame.  Shame.

It has been, apparently, a part of a larger learning process.  But it has been a shame nevertheless.

You may say, in an appeal for mitigation, ‘But it was so seductive, to have the first black American as our president, and combining both white and black America in his very nature to boot.’  But if you try to play that card, you forget one, apparently ‘little thing’: Barack Hussein Obama was also combining legal allegiance to another nation in his nature.  And not just Kenya; which was a protectorate of the United Kingdom at the time of his father’s birth. But therefore that very old nemesis, which the American colonists had fought a terribly difficult War of Independence to free themselves from.

The very nation that was the cause of all that turmoil.  And the main reason FOR the constitutional Framers to make sure - at least as sure as they could, in their time - that Great Britain didn’t slip back into power in the New Country, by requiring the office of the presidency to be filled by none but a 'natural born' citizen.

You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried….

So much for water under the bridge.  The bridge, now, to s New Era.  For this nation.

And for the world.

Which we will inherit, and thrive in.

Lest we forget.

There's some naivety going on here. The hackers don't need access to the Internet to do their thing on the electronic voting machines. They are hackable in a number of ways, from having modems in them that talk to each other purely electronically, to having their electrical impulse intended for a central collating computer tapped into along the way, and manipulated before being sent on its merry way.

The only answer to this charade is to do away with the electronic machines altogether, and go back to paper ballots, with a clear paper trail (and to have smaller precincts, so there will be less waiting time in line). And to have the voter reg rolls CERTIFIABLY CLEANSED, of all ineligible voters, dead voters, and duplicate voters. The list of need-to-do’s goes on.

CLEAN ELECTIONS OR NO ELECTIONS.

  • I'm sure the liar-in-chief would be happy with "no elections".

    • I should perhaps have made my comment more comprehensive. You see, in my ideal universe, a total cleansing of each state's voting system would be accompanied by a general returning to the rule of law in the country, which would include the voluntary retirement, or simple arresting, by Oath Keepers, of the Usurper in the Oval Office, and his being held for trial, on a whole host of charges by now, including fraud, perjury, and treason.

    • There's more. But you get the idea, I am sure.

(at the original site; where the author, inches original article - not carried in whole by cb.com -  actually made an excellent point, about the need to go back to paper ballots:)

Absolutely. Thank you, A.B. Stoddard, for pointing out this terrible possibility, and that the answer is to go back to PAPER BALLOTS (and smaller precincts, to cut down the waiting time in line). Together with certifiably cleansed voter reg rolls - of all ineligible voters, dead voters, and duplicate voters - and mandatory photo ID cards; the list goes on.

CLEAN ELECTIONS OR NO ELECTIONS. This is worse than a banana republic; there, at least they dip a voter's finger in purple ink, to keep duplicate voting from happening. Here, we live in a fantasy land. Nothing to see here, folks, keep moving right along...not.
