Dear Glenn,

I understand that you are trying to live your life by principle.  But what if the facts that you feel are right, and that you are trying to live your life by, are wrong?

You backed Ted Cruz - passionately; exactly like a true believer - because you thought he was a staunch conservative/constitutionalist who would bring the country back to the Constitution - by saving the Constitution from such rule-of-law trashers as Obama, and the rest of the New World Order crowd, who are trying to take over the country for their ultimate goal: a totalitarian state ruling the entire planet.  So yes; this is serious business that we are engaged in.  But - and listen very carefully: you forgot to check your premises.

Ted Cruz is not eligible for the job.  Just like the Usurper in the office today, he is not a 'natural born citizen'.  What is that, you say; I mean, after all, Cruz is this great constitutional scholar - his (liberal) law school professor said so; Ted, of all people, should know if he is eligible or not, right?  Well, I think the answer to that statement is: Yes, he should know.  That he is not eligible.  And I think he does know that.  But power is an aphrodisiac...

"The natives, or natural born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens..."  I am quoting from the the definitive tome of the day on such subjects, E. de Vattel's 'The Law of Nations, Or Principles of Natural Law' - which there is considerable historical evidence that the constitutional Framers were very familiar with (and which was taught in the universities of the day).  And that eligibility requirement for the office of the presidency (since extended to the office of the VP by constitutional amendment) STILL STANDS; absent a constitutional amendment to the contrary.

The Cruz camp has quoted the Naturalization Act of 1790 as support for their position.  Conveniently forgetting to let the public know that that Act was repealed by the Naturalization Act of 1795 ON THIS VERY ISSUE: that it was found to be misleading on this very matter, of the definition of a nbc.  And that correction was signed off on by both Madison and Washington.  No; there is no question.  The man is wrong on the issue.  And the Republican Party is an accessory to the crime, in failing to call Obama and the Democrat Party on his ineligibility for the office.  Obviously wanting to fudge the matter, by subsequently running their own candidates - Cruz and Rubio (and Jindal too) - through that hole rent in the good ship USS Constitution.

Like everybody else, you WILL answer to God, Glenn.  And - 'God willing' - Obama, and Cruz, and both major political parties of our day, will answer to The People.  Once we get our act together, and throw off these, our erstwhile masters, who would attempt to make of this planet a very dark, and dank, and stinking, prison.  And who are blocked in their evil enterprise by one major legal entity in particular:

the Constitution of the united States of America.  And the nation for which it stands.  Still standing, the last time I looked.  But it is a very close-run thing.
