Let Me In There, Coach. I Feel Hot

…And my first order of business
                        would be
              to roll up
                       the nests
             of jihadists
                       before
             they can do
                      any more
             damage
                      than they
                      already
             have
                      to
              the federal
            constitutional
                republic
                  of the
                United
                States
            of America.
             Long may
             its banner
              yet wave.

             I trust that
         you can manage
                 that
              with your
             technology
           of spying on
              even us
              citizens?
             Don’t you
              think??
             You rats
        yourselves???

     ,,,and this is just
                 the
           beginning
                 of
                 a
             clean
            sweep.

       For promises
            to keep.
     And miles to go
      before I sleep.

               —

           Now, on
           with the
      recalibration.

P.S. I would be tempted to go back permanently to the Constitution and the other founding documents, like the Declaration of Independence and The Federalist Papers, because there is admirable, even beautiful thinking there, on how - and whether - a people can govern themselves.*  And we indeed need to bring back the U.S. Republic, as a part of ‘setting things to rights,’ in getting back to the rule of law in this country, and reinstating that mentality.  (Of living by The Law.  Natural Law.  Cosmic Law.)  But we have other fish to fry now, fundamentally.  A new sea to sail on; a new star to guide by.

It is, to say, time now to move on.  And for the world as a whole.

* President Larry P. Arnn and Co. of Hillsdale College with their online courses have done excellent work in this regard, and are to be highly commended for it.
